Summary: Greatest SCI-FI thriller of all times
Review: Still the best Sci-Fi thriller of all-times, finally arrived on DVD. I have to say that this is the most beautiful DVD conversion I have ever seen. The picture quality is plain perfect, the sound quality also, the menu-system is just magnificent and the extras are also great. The only negative point is that the English subtitles are preceded by the name of the person that speaks and sounds are also subtitled. I think this is a bit silly. This one is definately worth every last cent.

Summary: The Best DVD.
Review: For years,I've watched Alien on either broadcast TV or VHS. And not thinking it as great as people say. But after seeing it on DVD in widescreen, its a totally different film.

Its probably one of my 10 favorite films now. And,at the same time its the best DVD out there.

Summary: This is how the Sigourney Weaver sci-fi series started.
Review: On it's way back to the Earth, The crew of the deep space Mining ship Nostromo are awaken from Hypersleep from a signal from a planet called LV 426. The crew deside to invetigate, only to find a abanonded alien spaceship, when one of the crew memebers is brought back with a alien attatched to his face, the signal was a warning not a SOS. The crew face terror as they are being to be killed off one by one by a vicous extra terrestrial.

Summary: In Space No One Can Hear You Scream... It's true!!!
Review: I have seen "Alien" about 30 times and it never bored me. When I got the DVD, I said "What more could this version offer?". I got the answer soon after that : wonderful interactive menus, extra features including the deleted scenes, audio commentaries, etc. It sounds great and it is - since this is probably one of the scariest movies of all time! The acting, camerawork, sound, music are beyond perfection. My advice, BUY IT NOW!!!

Summary: Very impressed with this DVD
Review: I was very very impressed with this DVD. It is the best that I've bought so far. The additional soundtrack, outtakes, directors commentary, deleted scenes are superior to any 'additional bits' that I've seen on any other DVD. The menu itself is amazing - the quality of the movie itself of course is nothing less than perfect.

I am very impressed with this DVD.

Summary: The start of the best horror series ever!
Review: This movie was awsome but it would have been better if their were more aliens. But I still give Ridly Scott a 5 of 5.

Summary: This film is a disgrace to sc-fi movies
Review: Any good sc-fi movies should have an meaningful and logical story, this is exactly what Alien lack. The CGI(if any) and special effect frankly not today's standard which make this film nothing more than a piece of junk. I keep on asking this question when I watched this film: "If nobody came to this alien planet, how can the Aliens survive in the first place?"(This aliens are not intelligence enough to make any spaceship)If you looked for a film in similar genre I highly recommand you watch "The thing" instead. Alien is no more than the psychopath in "Friday the 13th" dressing in Alien suit. This film is just a waste of time and money.

Summary: Best DVD ever!!
Review: I was totally amazed with the features on this DVD. It was completely more than I expected. The extra features which include the outtakes and the deleted scenes were just simply awesome! Also, audio track #6 was great. It depicts before the audio editing which lets you hear sounds and original dialogue before sound editing. Especially when Ash and Ripley are talking about what to do with mother! You can hear what she really said. This is a must for all Alien lovers!
