Summary: wonderful, imaginative, and completely mesmerizing
Review: This was by far the best movie I have ever seen. It expressed joys and fears in a very real to the soul kind of way. I laughed and cried and it awoke in me a passion. I have always loved dreams and their meanings and wondered about what happens after death. This movie shows a creative view of that; a way that makes death seem not quite so bad. I also love the TRUE LOVE aspect of it. The colors and special effects were awesome. Robin Williams was great.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: For the full at heart
Review: A ravishing setting full of captivating color .but do not let the visual wizardry steal the real jewel in this movie. What Dreams May Come depicts what most filmmakers fail to acquire - the human soul. One must have the right frame of mind to fully realize this movie's potential. Get ready for a heart wrenching , soul searching, emotionally exhaustive movie (comparable to Titanic) and this will be by far the best movie of 1998.

Summary: What imagination and emotion!!!
Review: This film, and I do call it a film, showed the human mind's incredible capacity for creativity and the portrayal of some of life's deepest emotions. The production designer obviously has an incredible sense of light, color, and fun while at the same time giving life to those dark images within each of us. I highly recommend this film to those interested in a story of true love and an imagination open to their hearts.

Summary: Inspired and Imaginative
Review: I am anxiously waiting for the March 9 release date of this video. At the theater, I was completely entranced by the artistry and pure imagination of this film which made me very glad that I took the opportunity to see it on the big screen. An absolutely beautiful movie with inspired performances by an excellent cast, What Dreams May Come enhanced my joy of living and reduced my fear of dying... Both sides of existence are presented as valuable experiences of the human condition.

Summary: Bored me to death
Review: This movie had me in tears.. from so much yawning! It presents someone's view of what comes after death; If you're good, then you make your own fantastic reality, even being being able to fly. If you're bad, then you make your own hell, based on your fears. It's like being in one big, childish dream. The visual effects are pleasant, but only for a short time. I couldn't stomach Robin William. I kept hoping for him to come up with one of his wise cracks, like on his roll of the "Geenie" in Aladin. Save your money, don't go see this dud.

Summary: excellent film
Review: This film is a life-changing and life-affirming experience. Anyone under the age of 25 may not appreciate it as much as we who have lived a little more. It illustrates well the adage that hell is on earth and we create our own hell. The power of love is a strong theme, but the power of the mind is the best lesson of the movie. See it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Stunning, it illustrates the true power of our mind.
Review: Have you ever wondered where your thoughts go, and how they influence your life? Have a look at this movie. It shows the difference in thought that comes from love and thought that is based in fear. Most importantly it is a brilliant portrayal of how we create our reality by what and how we think. The film shows you that death is an illusion and that there is a very grand purpose to life. And for those that have not read Coversations with God book 3, do so and see how the two are linked!

Summary: An emotionally spellbounding, heart-warming movie!
Review: This is top on my list of favorite movies! I went to see it with my fiancee, and after it was over we waited in the theater until everyone had left. We just sat there holding each other, with tears in our eyes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is by far the best movie I have ever seen,
Review: This movie has many messages about life in general, and displays good morals, and how to deal with things. Robin Williams display with his acting was exquisite.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: 5 Stars For Visuals 3 Stars For Everything Else
Review: Visually beautiful movie. The Heaven sequences are alive with color and possibility. The plot bogs down in William's usual maudlin sentimentality. Williams has always had a need to be taken seriously as an actor and person while staying true to his comedic roots. This is more true as Williams heads into middle age and forces the audience to watch him "act".
