Summary: Dudes, you gotta see this savory movie!
Review: As a 40 something, I still get most bodacious fits of laughter out of this movie. Never before has a history lesson been this imaginative and fun. Each time we watch it, Bill and Ted's unique vocabulary shows up in our family conversations for months. It's time to pop in the DVD, prepare some most savory popcorn and party on dudes!

Summary: Dude, get off of drugs
Review: This movie is, well, interesting. Bill and Ted are two kids who have a dream of starting their own band, but they don't have good instruments and they can't play. They have to pass this history presentation or the flunk and Ted has to go to Military camp. They get help from a gu from the future and go back in time and grab several characters from history for their project. The storyline is one of the worst. The way the two guys talk, we'll just say the should back off of the narcotics. ...

Summary: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: A Great Comedy
Review: Hey dudes! This movie here rocks! It's about 2 stupid dudes who go through time in a phone booth (actually a time machine) to pass their history report, because they have spent a lot of time trying to form a band called Wyld Stallyns and are failing history. These guys have the most excellent adventure ever, with lots of funny things happening along with "Beeth Oven", "So Crates", Billy or "Mister" The Kid, and other people in this hilarious sci-fi/comedy! You're also gonna have to admit that this dang movie looks brand spankin' new for having been filmed in 1987 and released in 1989! I should actually give it more than 5 stars 'cause it's KOOL! It's definitely Keanu Reeves' best film ever! If ya ain't seen it and wanna know more, or if you have seen it and want to again, then buy this here movie on DVD in widescreen with a bonus theatrical trailer! I guarantee ya, it's a great comedy! "Be excellent to each other", and "Party on dudes"!

Summary: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure on DVD
Review: Hey dudes! This here movie rocks! It's about Bill(Alex Winter), and Ted (Keanu Reeves), two really stupid kids who have failed history while planning a band called Wyld Stallyns, and must do a history report over "So-crates", Sigmund "Frood", and other historical people, and get an A+ on it to pass the class (and the grade). Luckily, a guy named Rufus(George Carlin) from the future comes to help them, because if they don't become a great band, the future will [stink]! With a phone booth/time machine, they find many historical people, meet two princesses or "babes" in medival England whom they marry (in the 2nd Movie), pass their report, and with the help of Rufus, become a great band! Get it, it's totally excellent (especially on DVD in widescreen and with a brand new looking picture, especially for having been filmed in 1989)! So, "be excellent to each other", and "party on dudes"!

Summary: Funny yet extremely stupid
Review: I admit that this movie is funny, yet it is not funny enough to want to watch it again and again. The movie loses its edge after you get over the initial shock of Keanu Reeves playing such a dorky character. Yet, I do believe that this is a movie that everone should see at least once. You should defiantly watch it to see Keanu Reeves at his dorky hair stage.

Summary: Who says the 80s were a waste...?
Review: This film, while definitely not life-changing, was one of the best films of the 80s. I remember seeing this in the theater when it came to my small, home-town. It was great. The DVD left much to be desired, but I guess it would be hard to get Keanu Reeves to comment on the film that made him out to be a colossal dufus, especially after the success (and ego-boost) of the Matrix. But it is still a solid piece of my DVD library. If you're a fan of the movie, definitely buy it. If you've never seen it, check it out ASAP!

Summary: If you're looking for the best of Keanu Reeves...
Review: ...you won't find it here. For the longest time, I thought that Reeves was simply playing himself in this movie. It seems as though every role he playing -- including in "Dangerous Liasons" carried with it a bit of the "dude" mentality that is so pervasive in "Bill and Ted." (Like, milady, you are so totally beautiful...)

However, in the years since, we've seen Keanu tackle roles in "Speed" and "The Matrix" with great command -- and, happily, sans the "dude" dialect.

In "Bill and Ted," however, that, like, awesome talk is ever-present from beginning to end. Even so, I set out to enjoy the movie, and was almost accomplishing that when the final sequence came on. I can bear almost anything in movies, but one thing that I can't bear is hearing Abraham Lincoln say, "Party on, dudes!" Somehow I just can't fathom the great emancipator being on the same wavelength with Bill and Ted. That would likely leave him somewhere near braindead, which is how I felt after enduring this film.

Summary: Excellent!!
Review: Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter play two most excellent dudes from San Dimas who are in desperate need of passing history. Otherwise Ted(Keanu) is being sent to col. Oates military academy in Alaska by his dad. Bogus! With the help of Rufus (played by George Carlin), they have a most excellent adventure through time. Along the way, they pick up NApolean(short, dead dude),Billy the Kid, Socrates, Sigmund Freud, JOan of Arc, Ghengis Kahn, Beethoven, and Abraham Lincoln. Oh, and they also meet two beautiful babes from England. Bill and Ted must not be seperated because it's extremmely urgent that they get their band 'Wyld Stallyns' under way. *air guitar*
A must-see most excellent movie, dudes!
