Summary: this movie is so bad,it took 3 times to watch all of it!
Review: the movie is a waste of film but the guys make it worth watching! i couldn't wait to see how they handled the bad bad bad storyline and shooting. you have to have an iron stomach to watch this movie i actually felt sorry for the guys. well, just talking about it makes me want to watch again!

Summary: Mmmmmmmanos. Hands of Fate? Yes.
Review: Hm. Such a bad movie. It's actually painful to watch sometimes. But Joel and the gang, God bless 'em, make it into a fun time for all. "Manos" is one of the better MSTs, but I don't think I would call it the best. If you want an intro to MST, I suggest "Shorts", if you want a beginner movie, I'd say "Pod People". If you want a test by fire with spectacular rewards for the survivors, it's "Manos" all the way.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It's hard to get past just how bad this movie is.
Review: I think that if they put me on that ship and made me watch just "Manos," I would go completely insane. This movie is HORRIBLE. I can't believe anyone would actually have paid to make this movie. However, MST3K made it bearable, which is no small feat. It's not the best MST3K I've ever seen, but it is by no means the worst. I think everyone should watch it, even if it's just to make you realize just how awful something can be.

Summary: Manos is good.
Review: Everyone knows that "MANOS THE HANDS OF FATE" is arguably the best motion picture ever made, but few realize that it is also an alegory for the life of Christ.

Review: Manos the Hands of Fate is the magnum opus of MST3K. No other episode, no matter how god-awful the movie got (and yes, this includes The Unearthly plus all the Gamera films), compares to the epic scale of badness that Torgo and the Master dish out in this 16mm reel of horrors. If you're not a seasoned MST3K veteran, you'll probably want to start out with something less likely to cause your brain to cave in, such as "Cave Dwellers" (or maybe "The Day the Earth Froze," if you can find it). But if you've not seen Manos, you're really not a MiSTie. It's poetry in motion. Really. vIsiT tOrGo toDaY! :)

Summary: One horrible movie, One great MST
Review: Not a lot has to be said here. Manos: The Hands of Fate is hands down (haha, get it?) one of the worst films ever made, if not THE worst. Being such an abomination of a movie, the MST staff is given a prime opportunity to rip it into many comical pieces. Although a horrible movie, our MST buddies make it as hilarious as it is low quality. I highly recommend seeing this video, it's one of the best MSTs out there. It'll make you laugh like crazy (and maybe cry a little- its just so bad!!) and appreciate other well made movies a lot more in the future.

Summary: Use your hands to clap for Manos.
Review: This movie just screams "Make fun of me!" and our friends at MST3K do just that. Just keep this in mind while watching it, this idea for a movie came out of someones head, they told a producer about it, producer said "Go ahead, shoot this baby!".

Summary: Oh, MAN! The Worst Ever!!!
Review: I've just this minute finished seeing this movie, and it is without a doubt the worst I've ever seen! The shoddy production values make "Eegah" look like "Ben-Hur", the movie is badly framed, badly lit, and almost always out of focus. The acting is so bad, it is beyond laughable. The only reason I give it three stars is because of the truly heroic efforts on the part of Joel & the 'bots to make this movie anything like bearable. You know it has to be bad if even Dr. Forrester and Frank apologize!

Tragically, John Reynolds, whose performance as Torgo was the film's standout, committed suicide the same year this movie was made. (True story...)

Summary: It's the devil and its FUN!
Review: That is exactly the perfect quote from and about this turd. Ya gotta dig the friendly beast from hell, Torgo, the master(he has the most musical laugh), and his wives. Undoubtedly the most repulsive of all the Mst3k movies, and I love it. Can't forget the real time car trip through Arizona. If you are low on cash but want an MST3K flick pick this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not for the faint-hearted
Review: This execrable little feature undoubtedly rates as one of the all-time best episodes ever. With all proper deference to fellow MSTies, however, I'd say "The Unearthly" would make a better introduction to neophytes, if only because it's a bit more accessible. And, frankly, there's something awfully disturbing about "Manos." Think about it: presumably responsible adults actually sank a considerable amount of time, money, and effort into this piece of detrius. (Granted, it was the Sixties...) Still, the jokes are about as good as you'll find on the show, and Mike Nelson's performance as Torgo actually gets funnier each time you see it. This one's a definite "keeper."
