Rating: Summary: I Loved it! Review: I thought it was a good movie, and with Sandra Bullock I dont see how it couldn't be good!
Rating: Summary: Although not great.....not bad! Review: I thought the movie was o.k. It had it weird moments with all the sci-fi stuff but what it really ment to show is that there is love somewhere out threre for you. No matter how odd the prefect guy for you is, he is out there somewhere waiting for you.Even if you think that this man you are in love with could never be real, he just might be. It proves love endures!
Rating: Summary: One of the Most Wonderful Movies I've Ever Seen Review: This movie is fabulous and perfect for daughters, mothers, sisters, aunts, and nieces to watch together. This movie is about family and sisters. It really brought me and my mom closer together. I love this movie!

Rating: Summary: Outstanding Movie for the sophisticated viewer. Review: Practical Magic is an extrememly well executed movie which will never get its due. The wonderful emotional aspect as well as the fun magic theme are blended with a subtle and sophisticated humor which fans of such fare as "Airplane","The Naked Gun" or "The Simpsons" will never grasp. See it with an open mind and heart. A great movie.
Rating: Summary: Sorry excuse for witches Review: Although I found parts kind ofcharming and overall, for a "chick flick", I enjoyed it, I must say that for a movie about witches, the witches were lacking. For it's plot, witches weren't really needed. And even the witches that are present in the movie, they don't really do much. Nicole Kidman does nothing with her power but drug a psycho boyfriend so he can go to sleep and leave her alone. And Sandra Bullock seems to just have a spoon magically stir her tea/coffee and she can also can blow on a candle and light them that way. Take these useless scenes out and you're left with ordinary women. For a movie about witches, I was expecting a more magical movie experience.--wcg
Rating: Summary: Totally pro women!! Review: The movies has to do with modern day witches that by love over come a horrible spell put on all the owens women 300 years ago.How could you not love this beautifully made movie?
Rating: Summary: It was very funny. Review: It was extremely funny. Stockard Channing did an excellent job. This movie is worth seeing again. My favorite scene is when they are all dancing and making drinks.
Rating: Summary: Stop being so hard on Sandra Bullock! Review: While I agree with some of the reviews I have read about the conflicting changes of tone in the movie, I base my liking of a movie on how I felt after it was over. "Practical Magic" left me in a good mood, and for me, that's all I need. Enough already about the social ramifications, people. Did you like it, or not? Stop being stuffy. And I must say that Sandra Bullock is a very talented actress. Those who don't believe me, please rent "Hope Floats." You'll see what I mean.
Rating: Summary: Practical Magic is the best movie with such, great actors! Review: Practical Magic is a great movie for all ages. Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman) play sisters that are witches. Their aunts Jet (Dianne Wiest) And Frances (Stockard Channing) are also witches. The aunts like to put spells on people. They put a spell on Sally so that she'll fall in love. Gillian falls in loves with Jimmy Angelow. Then her and her sister kill hhim to get away from him. The aunts find out that the sisters killed him so they leave to teach them a lesson. Then, when the aunts finally come back, they find out that Jimmys spirt is in Gillian. So then the aunts have Sally call everyone on the phone tree, and the go to her house, to help ge his spirt back into the grave. His spirt finally comes out of Gillian. Then everything is normal again. The Garry Hallet(Aidan Quinn)who was investigating the murder falls in love, with Sally. Then that halloween, they all jump off the room and fly. The Sally and Gary live happily ever after. These are my favriote quotes from the movie: Aunt Frances: Where are you going dear? and, When we put that spell on you for Michael, we had to bnid it with malsos because his legs would open up! Gillian: We don't have a choice Sally this is our choice! Aunt Jet: Oh, nothing just making toast that's all. Sally: You should come around here on halloween you'd really see something then. We all jump off the roof and fly. We kill our husbands too. Jimmy: I'm feeling very into sisters right now. Gary: You better have yourselfs a damn good lawyer. And don't even think about leaving town.
