I am a fan of the FX I mentioned but someone went out on a limb an made a movie that you actually have to listen to. Summary: Great movie about the values of the Craft
Review: Loved to see this movie. For a long time all movies about witches have involved them being evil. Nice to see the Craft portrayed as it is meant to be (if not entirely realistic). High applause for ALL the actors in this movie - I could watch it again and again just for fun!!! By the way, you might want to check the summary for the movie - it's Kidman's character that get involved with the Hungarian and Bullock's that gets her out!!!

Review: Even Sandra Bullock's best performance since "While You Were Sleeping" couldn't get this movie up and going. I kept waiting for it to get started and grab my interest, which never quite happened. It's too bad, really, because this film had all the potential ingrediants needed to be a success - great story, stars and director. On another note, for those of you, like myself, who enjoy the addition of a commentary to a DVD's "special features" section, this one is a good example of the kind of commentary not to do. After listening to 15 minutes of composer Alan Silvestri talk about his music and Griffin Dunne filling us in on the great relationship he has with producer Denise Di Novi, I turned it off. They just seemed more interested in themselves than the film I was watching. This was a shame because I really wanted to hear what Sandra Bullock (who was practically non-existant in the commentary protion I listened to) had to say about the making of the movie and acting in general.

Review: Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are both very talented actresses, but this movie was awful. The begining was good, but about halfway through the movie it just got stupider and stupider. The very end was trying to be so touching, but I just laughed because it was so stupid. I'm glad that other people enjoyed it, and I wish that I could have enjoyed it as well.

Summary: Blessed be this movie
Review: I will say that this movie made me feel better inside than any other movie I have ever seen! I will also add that it is a movie that will be the turning point in the opinion of us modern day Witches. "There is no devil in the Craft". This comment coming from such a wonderful actress, WOW. The relationship between all the women, not just the sisters is a strong factor too. The aunts were endearing, and when all the ladies ended up at the house with there brooms, how wonderful!! Would everyone agree that Sandra Bullock deserved a Accademy Award, or at the least a nomination for her part???????
