Summary: Kids LOVE it!
Review: My 5 year old loves this movie! What a cute way to depict The Nutcracker for young children.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a treat, a timeless classic...a must see movie for kids
Review: The Nuttiest Nutcracker is a touching story and a wonderfull way to rekindle childhood memories of holiday seasons long forgotten. It boasts a bevy of fun and colorful characters on an epic struggle to save Christmas, while restoring the faith of one little girl. What a treat, a timeless classic...a must see movie for children.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Awful!
Review: The only reason I chose this rating is because it would not allow me to pick NO STARS! What an awful movie. The animation is below mediocre and the barely developed characters are if not annoying then just plain bizarre. This is in addition to the nonexistent plot line. There are so many other wonderful children's videos out there...pass this one by.

Summary: This movie stinks.
Review: The so-called computer animation is terrible at best and the story line makes absolutley no sense. It's quite obvious that any positive review mention online here were from the film makers.

Summary: YEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAA! Stop Grabbing my FACE!
Review: The thing is, there was NEVER any face grabbing in this whole picture! Not even on the cover! Which was confusing since my one line review explicitly says: "Stop Grabbing my FACE! you morons." The 'you morons' i had to add for effect. I couldn't include it in the one liner because the effect was lost. and anyway, there was very little effect, but i wouldn't say that. Hey, the cowboy with hat and the black lady, they came over from NO WHERE! I don't know much about computers, but ladies is sweeeeee-eat! If you have to see one movie this year, watch for the black lady's scene! and the cowboy ROCKED! btw; there's a lot of face grabbing, so i can't recommend the scene with black lady AT ALL!

hey... why not? eh? sure.

Summary: Quite Simply...A Masterpiece
Review: This is the 3-D animated Christmas show that all 3-D animated Christmas shows will be compared to.This isn't just your typical light fanciful yarn, but a visceral journey into the very heart of what makes us all human.I laughed out loud,I cried(like a baby with a tooth ache)and I bit my finger nails to the quick, as this epic story of manequins, dancing rats, and gleeful fruit weaved their magic into my heart! A really good video will leave you thinking about it hours after you've seen it, with the Nutcracker I couldn't stop thinking of it for days...The haunting splendour of Uncle Drosslemeirers bedroom, or the evil coldness of the rats cheese mines have still not left my dreams. Not since the "One Day at a Time" Christmas special have I been so taken with a holliday show! This ranks right up there with some of the greats...The Barbara Feldon Xmas Hour, A Very Brady Christmas,The Good Times Christmas show (3rd season) and Claude Aikens Christmas Time in New Mexico.

Summary: A twist of muppets and cartoons characters
Review: This movie look interesting in it preview, however it did not hold my 3 year old attention. I thought he would like it because it was full of color and great singing. What really turn him off is that he did not like the interruption of the cartoon character mix with the muppets. He perfer just the muppets characters.

Summary: Kids LOVE it!!!!
Review: We got a copy from the library and my daughter insisted we buy it! I think she is destined for Broadway! she just loves acting out the mouse king and even created her own costume so she could march around the house like him!! We are going to see the Nutcracker play together now and she is sooo excited. If this crazy movie can inspire an interest in plays and creative play on her own,,, I'm all for it! My little boy is also crazy about it! they are 4 and 2 yrs old.

Summary: I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats.
Review: What is it about this movie that we ,the American public, find so captivating? The answer is simple.....it's charm. Not since "White Christmas" has a holiday picture boasted this kind of understated elegance or such wholesome story. Could it be that the golden age of film has found a place in modern cinema? Let us hope so, as the beauty and clarity of "The Nuttiest Nutcracker" represents our last and best hope of reviving the innocence of our parents' generation. In a nutshell, this film is "soup for the soul" , a pleasant reminder of the frivolity of childhood.

Let me take the time to thank both the amazing and talented animators who created this visual wonder, and the producers who boldly chose to take the unpopular and often difficult "moral highground". I don't know how you did it ......but I'm sure glad you did. I wait with baited breath and gleefull anticipation for the second installment of this would-be series.

Hats off and high hearts to you unsung heros..........and Merry Christmas.
