Summary: Amazing
Review: This season really added a hell of a lot more drama to the show. Angel came back without anyone knowing except for Buffy. The gang took a long time to finally accept Angel and forget the wrongdoings of Angelus in season 2. The events with the mayor were incredibly hilarious and I loved how he was so fatherly to Faith. It was so comical seeing those two work together. You also see how Angel is coming to the realization that he and Buffy cannot have a future together because of the events in season one-Angel having one true moment of happiness and turning into evil angelus. This season was amazing, especially the last few episodes, which made me cry hysterically. The part in graduation day part 2, the moment when Angel walks into the fog away from Buffy and permanently out of the show was the saddest moment of the entire three seasons (well for me at least). Personally I stopped watching Buffy after that because to me it all went to hell when Angel left. Then Willow turned lesbian and the Oz romance was offically dead, and the arrival of Riley, I just couldn't stand it anymore so I natually switched to Angel, but came back when the Spike and Buffy romance began. Still, Buffy is an amazing show and season three was one of the best seasons ever!

Review: This season is the season many sees as the best season and in many ways it is.
The characters Faith, showed later to be a girl who would change a whole lot.
Season 3 is in many ways the season that explores what the show is about. The fact is that, the slayer will always be alone. This season was also the end of Buffy and angel.
it was was a romance that nearly ended the world. The powers that be wanted angel to do good after he was cursed and they new, the slayer could help. Angel was a champion and could be able to do a big differents. Angel who had been one of the most evil people on earth as Angelus, not only would become the hero and champion they wanted, but he fell in love with Buffy, which was a big problem.
Season 3 explores the fact that each of them is meant for something bigger. And they have to leave each others lives, because it was to dangers for him to be near her because of the curse. This romance would never end it seemed, even though they would end up, being on different roads, to keep the greater good. They would save the world, separately. I recommend season 3 in many ways, one of them being that it's really a great season.
Season 3 shows proudly that its one of the best TV shows ever.
The little show with a, HUGE star. A must buy in every sense of the word...

Review: Wouldn't it suck if you beared the weight of saving the world, a vampire boyfriend, battling demon fiends, all on top of high school? Well if you did, likely you'd be Buffy Summers. After a semi-cliffhanger ending to season two with Buffy running awayf from Sunnydale, the show picks up with the scoobies fighting the bad guys in her absence, and Buffy trying to fend for herself in L.A. An encounter with a gang of demons kidnapping children into a hell dimension sets Buffy back on the right, prompting her return to Sunnydale. What ensues is a season full of thrills and drama. A new slayer arrives in Sunnydale, a psychopathic one no less, who joins forces with the evil mayor, who aspires to be a demon. Angel returns, miraculously from a demon dimension, and resumes his relationship with Buffy. Her senior year at Sunnydale high marks her, and her friends', continued maturity into adults, all leading up to a Graduation Day showdown with the mayor. Review: Highlights for this season include the return of Angel and the arrival of Faith. Personal favorites include, "Lovers' Walk", "The Wish", "Amends", "Doppelgangland", "Enemies" and "Graduation Day" parts one and two. Angel leaves Sunnydale, setting up his own spin-off series. Season three is considered the pinnacle of the series, and it is.

Summary: Can you believe it lived up to what came before?
Review: It's hard for me to choose my favorite seasons of Buffy.I love them all but season three is special.It's second only to season five.Anyway,Buffy's Senior High School year may not have the powerful drama of season two but it makes up for it by being the most consistently good of the series.Almost every episode of season three is a standout.The weakest are still light years ahead of the weak ones from season two.(Ex:Compare Killed by Death from season two with Homecoming from season three).The Big Bad of season three is the Mayor of Sunnydale.He is a delight.He's one of the best Big Bads because he's very funny and because of his interaction with Faith.Faith the Vampire Slayer is another great new season three character that will make you happy Kendra died back in season two.Season three does a great job of solving season two's final cliffhanger but it pales compared to what happens after with Faith and everything.I admit to prefering season two's story arc but I still prefer season three because of its godly average episode quality.No other season of Buffy before or after is as consistently good as season three.Still prefer season five,though,because it's almost as consistent and because the story arc is the best for me along with season two.Anyway,season three rules.Just don't think you should stop there.Season four is worthier than a lot of people make it sound like.

Summary: My second favorite season-Really Good!
Review: I started watching Buffy halfway through this season. The first episode I saw was Lovers Walk. I was hooked. Although I didnt become a Buffy fanatic until about a year and a half ago. Which is when I started watching reruns on F/X and buying all of the DVD's. My favorite season is season 2. Its the first box set that I bought. But this season isnt very far behind. I love the Buffy/Angel moments. Although most of this season is really about their relationship tearing apart. The introduction of Faith is fabulous. She quickly became a character I loved. Even through her dark side. Two of the best episodes of this season revolve around her: Bad Girls and Consequences. I love the relationship between her and the mayor too. They're the bad guys so you're not really supposed to like her, but you do anyway. My two favorite episodes of this season are Amends and The Prom. Both deal mainly with the character of Angel. Amends has him revisiting his past when the First, who later resurfaces in 7th season, tries to convince him to kill Buffy. The Prom is a tearjerker. It's the ending of the Buffy/Angel relationship. I tear up every time during two parts: When Angel and Buffy get into a big argument in the sewers, and when Buffy is crying on Willow's lap over the end of the relationship. Two great episodes. Another awesome episode is Earshot. Although it hit a little close to home since it was supposed to air a week after Columbine. I can see why they postponed it, but I just think that it was ridiculous to postpone it half a year. I was so lost when they skipped that episode. But it was just beyond ridiculous when they postponed Graduation Day Part 2 because of the violence. Come on, is anyone going to be affected by seeing kids doing violence to a giant snake? I dont think so. Overall, and excellent season. I would definitely recommend it.

Summary: The Best Television Show Ever! It Kicks 'A!
Review: I'm a 38 year old female, will be 39 in a few months and I just have to say that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite Television show and it leaves all other shows in the dust! This show is is a big hit with people of all ages and the third season is one of the best with terrific acting from the entire cast, Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, Anthony Stewart, Head, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Charisma Carpenter and Seth Green and terrific guest stars like James Marsters, Eliza Dushku and Harry Groener. I liked almost every episode but my least favorite was the season opening episode Anne, it wasn't a horrible episode but was a bit of a disappointment after the anticipation of waiting for the first episode of season three after the amazing two part season finale of season two but I still very highly recommend this season three complete season DVD! One question though why does James Marsters have his picture on one of the discs when he didn't become a regular until season four? I love James Marsters but as he only appeared in one episode in the third season I think that Anthony Stewart Head should have had his picture on one of the discs! And for the reviewer who said that the first actress who played Willow was a bad actress and Alyson Hannigan is much better, well you seem to be under the impression that Willow was played by another actress in the first season but there has never been any other actress who played Willow, she has always been played by Alyson Hannigan who is a very good actress, you perhaps didn't like the shy wallflower Willow of the first season and prefer her when she broke out of her shell and became a stronger more confident person.

Review: The third season of 'Buffy' kicks away some of the happy-go-lucky feel the second season occasionally garnered. This is a very dark season of the best television show to ever grace the screen... but that's the reasons it's so exceptional. This is the best season 'Buffy' ever gave us, even topping the truly fantastic second season. Most of the people reading this review are obviously going to be interested in buying this box set (and trust me, you should!). I would like to direct my review towards people who are just starting to discover this show. The following are the top reasons why you should buy this, and every, box set of 'Buffy'. 1) The plot lines are twisting and complicated and keep you enraptured from the beginning of the season to the very end. The third season's plotline involves Faith, the other Vampire Slayer, coming to Sunnydale. Viewers soon realize that Faith isn't he kind of Slayer that Buffy is. As Faith turns her back on the forces of good, Buffy must also worry about the mysterious Mayor of Sunnydale, who has plans of his own. It all comes together at the end of the season. 2) The acting is superb. Every character seems to have been created for the acter that plays them. The third season also has one of the best ensemble casts the show would ever have. The always excellent Sarah Michelle Gellar is great as Buffy Summers. Nicholas Brendon and Alyson Hannigan are perfect as her pals Xander and Willow. Seth Green is perfect for the part of laconic werewolf Oz. Anthony Stewart Head is in his prime as Giles, Buffy's Watcher. Charisma Carpenter is acidic as the popular Cordelia. David Boreanaz just keeps getting better as the brooding vampire Angel. The guests stars are also among the best of the series this season. Eliz Dushku (Faith), Harry Groener (the Mayor), K. Todd Freeman (Mr. Trick), James Marsters (Spike) Kristine Sutherland (Joyce Summers) and Armin Shimerman (Principal Snyder) are all fantastic. 3) The writing is spot on. Whether the characters are wipping out the wittiest one-liners this side of 'Seinfeld', twisting words in classic 'Buffy' fashion, or delivering heart-breaking speeches, the writing of this show is absolutely excellent. Everything just sort of falls into place and the show has its own distinct feel. 4) Individual episodes are a classic! Unlike other shows (ahem 'Alias'!) this show has some truly classic individual episodes that can be viewed whenever you want. Some included in this season are 'Earshot' (a hilarious and touching episode in which Buffy gains the power of telepathy), 'The Wish' (a great episode in which a wish by Cordelia sends the entire town of Sunnydale into a dark alternate reality), and 'Band Candy' (all of the adults of Sunnydale start acting like teenagers after eating band candy). The season finale ('Graduation Day'), 'Lovers Walk', and 'The Prom' are other highlights. 5) Joss Whedon is a genius! Bow down before him! The creator of 'Buffy' and 'Angel' has an indescribable wit. Too bad he is absent on the episode commentaries of this season. See! You have to get all the seasons!

Summary: The best season of Buffy. Period.
Review: This season is awesome! All of the best characters are in it (except the Trio), even though some leave early in the next. It has Angel instead of Spike (I don't like Spike, but that's just me), Faith, Oz, Cordelia, and the Mayor (who I think is the best villain the show has ever known (except the Trio). The Wish is an incredibly well-written and slightly disturbing episode, Band Candy is hilarious, and Graduation Day is my all-time fave (well... okay, the musical was rad too). The Zeppo is a cool Xander-centric episode with one of his best quotes: (Spoilers for those who care about Xander's social life) "Okay, they have bombs. Dead guys with bombs--I can't believe I had sex!--Bombs! Dead guys with bombs!"
