Summary: Jason X "EVIL GETS AN UPGRADE!"
Review: I have just got through viewing the preview of the movie "Jason X" (...). And I must say I'm very interested in this movie.

The year is 2499, the place is what's left of the earth. What was suppose to be a ruotine mission turns into something else, as a young crew of people uncover the criogenically frozen remains of Jason Voorhee's.

Of course he gets loose and all hell breaks loose, but he then get's trapped in some kind of device in which it enhances his powers. (He looks like he has been eating steroid's for 500 years.)

That's all they gave away in the preview. But I must say that any true Jason (A.K.A "Friday the 13th") fan will have to see this. I think it's going to be a lot better than the previous Friday the 13th, "Jason Goes to Hell", (which in my opinion was the best of the series).

I have heard the offical release date is a week before or a week after the release of Halloween 8. sometime in April, if I'm not mistaken).

Which there are also a lot of rumors that this film will be released straight to video and DVD, which I think would be much better. (...)

And as to the remarks in a previous statement by another viewer, "Hellraiser: Bloodline" was scary as hell, and the "Leprachaun in Space" was more funny than scary. But is'nt that the way the whole series went?

Summary: Jason X....in space?
Review: I like some other lucky fans have seen advanced screenings of this film, unfortunatly any horror movie that takes place in space is absurd, exceptions being Alien and such. It seems horror has taken a tech-spin, (the new Halloween revolves around the internet,) The Film is good Jason kills people like its going out of style, which is good for gore fans, however I much prefer killers in the woods, in the basement or lurking the streets where I feel they are most scary!

Summary: Jason in Hell? not quite
Review: the year is 2455, how is jason still alive, how is jason not in hell, answer, dr. pollack. When jason is pulled into hell as the really ridiculous story goes, the woman who was responsible for killing him, his supposed niece or something like that, she ends up working for a computer designer 2 years later, this part is really fast in the movie, so keep up. she cheats on the owner a doctor pollack. out of rage he decides to hit her where it hurts, bare in mind he is sick. mentally. he creates a time traveling machine to go back and kidnap her mother, but as he goes back he finds jason alive and well, something goes wrong and him and jason are thrown years and years in the future, Dr. pollack tries to destroy jason, realizing that jason is way beyond the ability to kill him, but his ultimate attempt on jason's life makes jason ten times stronger. so in the next few months jason wipes out, what is left of the earth after world war 10, in fact some of the few survivors believe that jason is a secret weapon from russia. however jason kills almost everyone except the one woman who always gets away, but ironically she gets infected with some sort of virus that has her carrying jason's next of kin. they are already working on the sequel. to this one.

Summary: JASON'S BACK, FINALLY!!
Review: It has been a while since Jason was last seen being dragged into hell by Freddy Kruger, an ending I frankly didn't like to "Jason goes to Hell." I've always been a Jason fan and I think his movies should stand alone,he doesn't need any help slicing and dicing his way across the screen. I'm glad they didn't go with the Jason vs Freddy angle here. And I have a message to all the critics who I'm sure are readying their pens to dump all over this latest installment, DONT BOTHER! We know the acting will probably be horrible and the story line won't be poignant and meaningful and it DOESN'T MATTER! If it's Oscar calibur performances you want, go see "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" (somebody has to.) Leave us and our slasher film alone, it doesn't need to make sense or even tie into part 9. All we need is 1) Jason and his Hockey Mask (wouldn't be right without it) and 2) Nudity and Blood (wouldn't be right without those either) and that's it. I've been a fan of Jason's since 1982 and I plan to be here til the bloody end (pun intended.) I'm looking forward to this movie and wish they would have released it this year, around October would have been good. In closing let me just say load up the Spacestation Fodder, Jason's back and it's about time!

Summary: I`ve seen Jason X....and it rocks!!!
Review: Just saw Jason X in the unrated version in a world premiere in Cologne, Germany...and it`s awesome. This is the best part of the Friday the 13th series, believe me! The best thing is, how Jason looks this time, his costume( after he mutated) is very cool. The gore factor is very high, Jason kills as many people as never before( hopefully you`ll see the uncut version of this movie!!!). The film is indeed impressive in its use of special effects. In one scene, you even get to see a virtual reality, reproducing the old Camp Chrystal Lake. So, wait for Jason X...you won`t regret it!!!

Summary: When Horror Movies Have Lost Their Touch
Review: You know a horror movie series has gone down the drain when they take the next movie into space. Past examples have included the Hellraiser, Critters, & Leprachaun series. The only one that held up was the Aliens saga (because it was BASED in space). Even the horrible Event Horizon bombed (even though it is not a series, thank god). Obviously the writers have run out of ideas and the studio is milking this series for all it is worth. However I will still watch this film in hopes that it will TRY to stay true to the series. Hopefully they won't get too wrapped up in special effects and "futuristic" weapons. Crossing my fingers that the suspense holds up.

Summary: Ok, I've seen this movie... AND IT ROCKS!!!
Review: I have to admit I was the first to say: "Aww man, here's another Leprechaun 4 or Hellraiser Bloodline", but I was completely blown away that this movie was really good. Even without the biggest effects placed (I saw a preview in which most FX hadn't been done yet) this movie still rocked. The best thinkg is that even though it's in space it still maintains the "Friday the 13th" feeling of 1-4 and 6 while giving it a new spin and even makes fun of itself at some points. The cameo by David Cronenberg is pretty cool too. I think the best thing about this movie is that it doesn't mention a thing about what happened in "Jason Goes To Hell" which completely destroyed the franchise. It also gives space for future sequels in modern time too, I just hope that if they do make other sequels they are as refreshing as this one.

Summary: 8 Years Ago
Review: It was 8 years ago when I went into the theaters to watch "Jason Goes to Hell", I was 9, I'm 17 now. It'll be 9 years once Jason X comes out, and I'll be seeing it. can't wait.
