Review: This movie will make you laugh until you cry. i love it. i have become a huge fan of heimlick...the graphics are great. pixar did a great job. the struggles of a bug's life are seen and felt first hand. it's a "bug eat bug world."

Summary: It's still great after 8 viewings
Review: I bought the DVD for my kids and I haven't tired of it after at least 8 viewings (not counting seeing it at the theatre too). The full frame version is just as good as the widescreen. It is just a matter of preference. Be sure to look for the Pizza Planet delivery truck and a Mega Gulp cup left over from Toy Story when Flik makes his trip to the city.

Summary: Pixar Pixar Pixar!!!
Review: As a 3d modeler myself, I can only dream to create that which Pixar has done. The characters move so seamlessly, so realistically (for ants!). I was absolutely amazed. The story is also a work of art. The humor is constant and yet, subtly dramatic. It was a fantastic film not simply for the young ones either. I am 23 and I loved it!!!

Summary: Funny HA-HA!!
Review: Even for a grown person, I laughed at so many scenes in the movie. It was just too funny. I had to watch it over and over. A must have film even if you don't have kids.

Summary: Excellent Movie!!!
Review: Very well done! Excellent story, voices, and graphics. I applaud Pixar for their quality production. The Chess Match short is very funny as an added bonus to A Bug's Life. It was funny to hear Jonathan Harris, Dr. Smith of Lost in Space fame!

Review: I think A Bug's Life is very funny and exsiting when the grasshoppers stat to bully the ant and forse food out of them. Then one day started to stick up for there self and Flick has a mition to get a some worries togeather he get them and then finds out that they are circus folk.

Summary: Very enjoyable family film
Review: I was disapointed when I noticed that Bugs Life did not offer more than one language on it's DVD format, but aside from that I found it imaginitive and enjoyed Kevin Spacey as the Big Bad Hoppers voice along with other many celebrity voices.

Good variety of laughs throughout the show for all ages and a very cute storyline. After watching it numerous times I have become even more appreciative of the effort that has gone in to putting this creative vivid masterpiece together. Ranks right up there with Toy Story and Aladin in my book. Oh!, and let's not forget the unforgetable outtakes at the end of the show which is without a doubt icing on the cake.

Summary: Great movie dissapointing DVD
Review: Unfortunately, this fabulous Disney/Pixar movie has been tainted by the fact that Disney still doesn't seem to believe that DVD is here to stay.

The movie is great, but Disney leaves off the trailers and extras that make DVD exceptional. After promising further trailer of Tarzan on the Bugs life Video, Disney deliberately left this trailer off the DVD. Additionally, the collectors boxes are unavailable on the DVD movie, and we PAID MORE.

From a movie standpoint Bugs life has a decent story, but its the graphical world that is incredible. Character interaction and even character animation is better in Antz, but the world created by Pixar is outstanding, Rich textures, individual animations in each background piece (or at least the illusion of this) make this movie a piece of Computer/Movie history. Just watch the leaves in the trees, or the grass, shadows move independently of each other. Just try doing that with a paint brush.

However, after purchasing more than 40 Disney movies over the past 5 years, it can be said without question, that if Disney can find a way to cut a corner and save a penny, they will.
