Summary: Who says big kids can't love Flik?
Review: I'm a college student who proudly marched into the theatres to watch A Bug's Life when it was released over the winter....

I sat sandwiched between a four-kid family (all of them younger than ten) and a pair of granparents with a five-year old boy...and I was every bit as enchanted and entranced as they. A charming story, for children as well as adults, our hero Flik has a lesson to teach all of us about the power of persistence and friendship. Next time you go to the video store, adults, don't just walk past A Bug's Life and chalk it up to the kiddies--I guarantee you'll secretly like it, too.

Summary: Better than Antz
Review: This movie, in my opinion, was much better than Antz. I love the voices of the characters, especially Manny and Mr. Soil (Jonathan Harris and Roddy McDowall).

Summary: Wonderful cutsey movie
Review: Okay, first let me say one thing- Dave Foley is soooooo cute! And so is this movie. First of all, this is not an alternative to Antz- see them both! Now, this movie is about an ant who wants to make a difference. Flik(cutie Dave Foley), is sent to find warrrior bugs to fight against mean grasshoppers, who take the food they work so hard for every year. But poor Flik accidentally hires a bunch of cowardly circus bugs. Of course, anyway, in the end the good guys win, everyone's happy, you know.

Now to my opinion- I love Flik. And all the characters, really. Dot is incredibly cute (a second grader ant who I think has a crush on Flik. And I don't blame her!) Oh, Princess Atta, who is nervous about her becoming queen soon. I wanted more of a relationship between Dot and Flik.(It's not what you think!) I wanted more romance between Atta and Flik. She could have kissed him on the lips, that would have been good. And it's not unheard of in the wonderful world of Disney. Anyway, even though the characters are not as well developed as in Antz, they are still endearing. (Thanks to Flik, I now have this thing where I have to watch Newsradio every night, and I have so far spent a total of four hours looking up Dave Foley on the internet.) Overall, kids definitely love it, adults probably, and eveyone will enjoy it. Absolutely worth buying.(If you're not boycotting Disney.)

Summary: A Great Movie for Kids and Parents Alike!!!
Review: 'A Bug's Life' is a GREAT movie it's funny, and cute. I love 'Geri's Game', and I think it is helarious! The movie is better, I think, than 'Toy Story' and I'm anxious to see the 2nd Toy Story when it comes out.'A Bug's Life' is for everyone of all ages! :)

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: This movie had me rolling on the floor laughing out loud! The subtle humor was gut-busting! For instance, Heimlich, who was always munching on something, spoke w/ a German accent & his name rhymes w/ the popular German name Heinrich! Real gems in the movie were: the Robin Hood act, the out takes during the credits, when Tuck & Roll first spot the bird, & when the fly boys mistake Francis for a lady.

Summary: kids love it
Review: I'm glad Disney and Dreamworks (Antz) made movies about insects because my kid absolutely loves them. He watches both videos everyday that's why buying them was worth every penny. The animation in Bugs Life was just stunning however I like Antz's storyline and humor better. I can watch Antz everyday with my kid and still find it funny. But just to sum it all up : buy the Bugs life video for your kids.

Summary: Very Good
Review: A very good children and adult story. The animation is breathtaking and innovative. A great follow up to Toy Story's own animation. A true Disney Masterpiece. Wide screen is even better.

Summary: Voice of Jonathan Harris a welcome treat
Review: It was great to hear Mr. Perfect Diction, Jonathan Harris, a.k.a. Dr. Zachary Smith, in the role of the preying mantis.
