Rating: Summary: A softer side of George Clooney Review: Alright, I'll confess that the only reason I wanted to watch this movie was because George Clooney was in it (I LOVE HIM!) but it really was a good movie. I've always loved romantic comedies, and this movie put an interesting twist on the whole subject. I loved George's character and the way he portrayed him, and the rest did a pretty good job too!
Rating: Summary: Dreamy, almost too perfect, but funny and entertaining. Review: I enjoyed this movie. Characters were believable but almost too much so. Two very attractive actors mix well. Ended up really pulling for them to get together and they did. For Michelle fans, like myself, very nice. She is real people, even in her undies, if you know what I mean! Recommended to lovers of all ages.
Rating: Summary: A great CD! Just wonderful! Review: I totally enjoy this album! It has so many great songs on it you can listen to over and over again. My favourite songs are "Love's funny that way" by Tina Arena and "One Fine Day" by the Chiffons. They express the glory of the movie. The scene in the movie where George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer go to the soccer game and he carries her is the most beautiful, especially with the song "Love's funny that way" in it. If you like the movie and like great variety on a CD, BUY IT NOW!
Rating: Summary: a very watchable film Review: i really enjoyed watching this film and would recommend it to any one who likes romance
Rating: Summary: Good Flick. Review: Not a big blockbuster movie, but really fun. This is a great movie to sit back and relax with your honey and have a fun evening.
Rating: Summary: Love Story of the 90's Review: Melanie Parker is a single, working mother who tries to balance her life as an architect. Jack Taylor, a cocky investigative reporter, is also in the same boat because he must take care of his daughter for the entire week. Taylor, being the irresponsible one, forgets to call Parker to inform her that she wouldn't need to pick up his daughter to school. As a result, their children missed their field trip. Parker, being upset at this point, refuses to associate with Taylor. However, fate comes into play and they are forced to depend on each other, which will cause them to develop feelings for each other. This movie is realistic in that it doesn't go into emotional overload. In addition to this, the characters play out their mistakes like regular human beings. This is a great movie to watch during a rainy day.
Rating: Summary: I loved it Review: This movie really shows love at first sight this movie was too goo
Rating: Summary: What An Excellent Movie Review: One Fine Day shows just how hard it can be for a single, hard-working mother (MICHELLE PFEIFFER) and a single, irresponsible father (GEORGE CLOONEY), having to balance the time for their children and work, but also manage to fall in love. I like that it shows them fighting and disliking each other at first, but they turn to care about each other.
Rating: Summary: Stereotypes from beginning to end! Review: George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer star as one dimensional characters that are living stereotypes of all that is wrong with the opposite sex. Each character constantly makes assumtions about the other character based on stereotypes and neither are dissapointed. If I ever stepped in a puddle as shallow as either of these two characters I won't even get dew on my shoes! Don't get me wrong, with the premise it could have been a cute love story, but the writer must of been paid per word and not for quality. Even though I sometimes enjoy mediocre romatic stories, this was painful to watch and I pitty the actors for being in a movie with such transparent characters.
Rating: Summary: Perfect music for a night a romance. Great love songs. Review: With exception of a couple of songs, this CD is fabulous. Beautifully sung songs of yesteryear, as well as newer tunes. First-class for the romantic in everyone.
