Summary: one of the best 80's movies out there!
Review: Just picture this being your life. A older sister getting married. A guy finding a questionaire which has a question about you liking him. A chinese foreign exchange student whose staying with one pair of grandparents and you got to bring around the town. Another pair of grandparents... One who tells stupid jokes and the other who feels you up. A geek whose in love with you and asks you for your under garments. A little brother whose a straight up prick. To top it off everyone forgets you 16th borthday including your parents. Now that's what I call comedy. Check this flick out if you never seen it. and remember " DONG DONG. WHERE IS MY AOUTO MOBILE?!"

Summary: One of the best movies of the 1980's.
Review: This is a classic movie for anyone who is entering into their 30's. It makes you feel like you are in that time period of the 1980's again, and it is also a great comedy.

Summary: If you like the movie, buy the DVD.
Review: Sixteen Candles is a nice 80's teenage movie. I hadn't seen it before I bought the DVD and I wasn't disappointed. I bought this DVD on impulse because I liked The Breakfast Club (also directed by John Hughes). Sixteen Candles isn't as funny as The Breakfast Club but it's a nice movie and my 16 year old sister liked it (I offered it to her as a birthday present). I think the DVD quality is okay: it's better than VHS but not as feature packed as many more recent DVDs.

Summary: Sixteen Candles is a great classic about teenage life.
Review: Sixteen Candles is possibly one of the greatest movies ever. Molly Ringwald is such a wonderful actress and has such spunk. This definetly ranks way up there with Ferris Bulers Day Off. This movie takes place in the 80's were the fashion is bad, and the hair is big. It is about a girl, whose parents forget her 16th birthday and about her dreams coming true. It is a great romance movie, along with being a great comedy.

Summary: The BEST of the BEST
Review: In my mind this is the all time best '80's movie. It is classic '80's with classic music(in the original version), classic lines and with Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall what more could you want. It brings back fond memories, I think we have all been there at one time or another. You can not get any better than Sixteen Candles!

Summary: I've said it once...
Review: ...and I'll say it again: NOTHING BEATS TEEN ANGST! This is a wonderful movie that leaves you with a bunch of great characters and great one-liners to remember forever! Not to mention the fact that it leaves every 16 year old girl wanting the school hunk to drive up in his car and present you with a big beautiful birthday cake! I loved the movie and always will!

Summary: What happened to the music???
Review: Be careful when you buy this video. The soundtrack has been redubbed with different music! The story is still good, though I miss the Kajagoogoo song at the beginning.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: 80's Classic!
Review: What can I say? Sixteen Candles brings back a lot of memories of when I was a kid growing up in the 80's. Who of all teenagers could play me but, Mollie Ringwald, in all hear charming adolescent angst. Along with Anthony Michael Hall, Ringwald and a quirky cast play out memorable scenes and lines that are a a source of chuckles and grins that are untouchably John Hughes.
