Summary: My Favorite Movie!
Review: For a long time my favorite movie was Grease. (It ALMOST still is.)But about a year ago, when my cousin showed me this movie, I fell in love. Now I know every word from the movie. It so funny that everything happened at the exact right or wrong time for Preston. (If you've seen the movie you know what I mean.) Can't Hardly Wait also established me as an official Seth Green freak and I dropped that (what's his name again? oh yeah...) Leo guy.

Summary: 2.5 stars actually
Review: This wasnt a good movie or a great movie. It gets 2.5 stars because that is between perfect and horrible. This film is just your typical eye candy, teen ager fluff. The hero is a little guy, the bad guy is popular and they both vie for the affections of the pretty girl. The little hero has a semi cute down to earth friend and the rich guy has his jock friends and the cute girl has her entourage as well. This your typical plot. So it cant be a horrible film because it is like everything else but it also cant be great because it is not original. And it isnt good enough to warrant an average of 4.5 stars.

Summary: Way better than I thought it would be.
Review: I bought this video on a whim, mainly because I like Seth Green, but not expecting too much of it. I was totally blown away. This is the best movie I've seen for ages! It's like a "Sixteen Candles" for the 90's (which was a great movie till they changed the soundtrack). Ethan Embry (the saving grace of "Empire Records") was sweet and convincing; Charlie Korsmo was wonderful as the supergeek (making a nice comeback after disappearing for like 8 years). Lauren Ambrose is a junior Janeane Garofalo and although she's a new one on me, I think she's got talent. Seth Green, as always, stole the show as the white wannabe-black kid, and is excellent in everything he does (even if I'll always think of him as Chuckie Miller). The one weak link for me was Jennifer Love Hewitt. If the role called for a dull, wishy-washy, easy on the eye but not on the stomach kind of girl, then she did very well. I wasn't a fan of hers before and this did nothing to convert me. Still, the film had me laughing hysterically from start to finish, and I'd recommend it to anyone, brat pack fan or not.

Summary: Most fast and entertainig movie ever
Review: Can't hardly wait is one of those films in which you can't press the stop button, it's exiting. Like half way through the movie, your so into it, you feel your at the dance. One of the best movies of all time!

Summary: Lacked any true lesson
Review: "Can't Hardly Wait" lacked true lesson or perception in it. For those of the audience who stated that Jennifer Love Hewitt was a "wonderful actress" need to actually look at her performance instead of her looks. She could have done so much more to her character--yet she just came off as a whiny little brat who just got dumped. All the other characters were stereotypical of the "average teenager." Yet the problem is that there is no such thing as the "average teenager". Teens are all motivated by different internal and external circumstances that are more than what meets the eye. Yet in this movie, the characters only were motivated about superfical things. It was semi-pleasant...but we need to look at this film with a closer eye. For those of you who wrote that you learned "so much" from this movie...what could you have possibly learned? Who could you have possibly identifed with in the superfical cast of characters?

Summary: awesome!
Review: Jennifer Love Hewitt looked unbelievable in this movie! Of course, when doesn't she? When I did pay attention to the actual plot, I found it to be hilarious. I could really see myself in Preston's character. I didn't care for the reoccuring scenes featuring the two characters in the bathroom.

Summary: One of the most underrated teen films of the year
Review: CAN'T HARDLY WAIT is truly a rare hidden gem of the recent batch of teen flicks emerging from Hollywood. Perhaps what makes this film so enjoyable is that it tends to rely more heavily on the colorful supporting characters (Seth Green, Ethan Embry, Charlie Korsmo) rather than focusing on Jennifer Love Hewitt's character. The movie is hilarious, never really lagging anywhere in script or acting, and it really does come out as one of the most underrated films of the year. Rent it today, it's well worth your money.

Summary: A fun film, it brings you back to the good old days...
Review: Buy this disc...no, not JUST because of Jennifer! But if you're after a fun movie and a lot of groovy extra features, you'll have to get this. My favourite feature is the directors' commentary version of the film. It just gives you another perspective on the makings of a movie.

Summary: Cool film. It was something that I could relate to.
Review: Okay, so I'm biased. I'll rate any film with Jennifer Love Hewitt in it, 5 stars. (I can't resist her smile.) But I really loved this film. It was something that I could relate to, and I could see a lot of myself in Ethan Embry's character, Preston.

Summary: Were finally back to the 80's
Review: I believe that with a little detour Dazed and Confused started the 90's high school films, but about the 70's. Then came Clueless and I really thought this would be the Sixteen Candles of the 90's, followed by tons and tons of these making a brat pack for the 90's, but it never happened. It came late, but I think that this is what the early 90's needed after clueless. And with the following of American Pie, a very similar but more intense of the same stuff and with a little better acting, that movie became the Pretty in Pink of the 90,s.

Can't Hardly Wait was good. I was a kid of the 80's, and this is how I remember it. This movie is about kids in the 90's about to graduate or just graduating from high school. The big party and virginity on the brink, very serious films. I'm just waiting to see if there will be any time to make a St. Elmos Fire of the 90's, well at least a witty one. Not one like gross anatomy, of course that was good too but on another caliber.
