Summary: In Parts - Fantastic.
Review: Let's first make one thing clear: As movies go, I think this is probably one of the very worst romantic comedies I have ever seen. That said, I would still recommend it! Why? Well, it is rescued by two things: a really great performance by Marisa Tomei and a movie that is literally filed with some of the most gorgeous and compelling scenes of Italy. Don't watch this movie unless you are prepared to consider moving to Tuscany!

Summary: so cute!
Review: Marisa Tomei is so funny. In this movie she goes running after her supposed soulmate and finds something else instead. Robert Downey Jr. is always amazing, but I don't think these two had the greatest chemistry. That doesn't take away from the story, though. There's another side story going on with Bonnie Hunt, who plays Marisa's sister, and her husband, played by Fisher Stevens. It all ends on a happy note, ofcourse, but the journey is enjoyable.

Summary: This is the world's best movie!
Review: This is the best movie in the world. It's a great romance story and parts of it are hysterical. I LOVE this movie.

Summary: Warm, sappy, and fun!
Review: One of the best things about this movie was the beautiful setting. It was filmed in Venice, and there were some seriously magnificent shots. It made me wish I could just pick up and go there for a weekend, like Faith and Kate did.

The movie begins with Faith as a girl, playing with a Ouiji board. She asks who her soulmate is, and it gives her the name Damon Bradley. All her life, she waits to find him, but is unsuccessful. Marisa Tomei does an excellent job portraying the naive dreamer, Faith. When a phone call turns out to be a lead on discovering her soulmate, Faith and Kate fly to Venice, hoping to find him...ten days before Faith is supposed to marry the wrong man. In Venice, Faith runs into Peter Wright *literally* who chases her down to return her shoe. The moment she bumps into him, he falls in love with her! Seeing it as his only opportunity to get to know her, Peter (played by Robert Downey Jr.) pretends to be Damon.

I won't spoil the ending, but I will say this movie really made me smile. It's a great chick flick for those of us who love romance movies.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This has to be one of THE best movies I have ever seen. It definately has not got the publicity it deserves. It's funny, charming and romantic. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jnr. are FANTASTIC and the storyline is just as good. An especially good Valentine's movie, but brilliant any time! Get it and don't miss out!

P.S. Italy is beautiful! The Italian tourist board should thank the makers of Only You - It has persuaded me to go to Italy sometime!!!

Summary: Your my man Robert!
Review: Only You is a light romantic comedy movie with an intruiging storyline. It is about a girl who is convinced her soulmate is a man named Damen Bradley. She meets Damen Bradley, the shoesales person (RDJ) when she goes searching for him. But the turning point of the story is when Damen turns out to be not who she thinks he is. Need I say Robert Downey Jr is the best actor ever (talented and good-looking), and he delivers yet again a brilliant performance in this movie. Though this story has a rather predictable ending (like most love movies) I have to say if you're a Robert fan (like me) and even if you're not, this is the movie to watch- entertaining and one of his best films

Summary: Fall In Love With This Film - I Did
Review: What can I say? Perfect cast, setting, music, beautiful story - this film has absolutely everything I could possibly want. Robert Downey Jr is so believeable, you could cry. When he's hurt, you feel it. When he turns on those steps, to try to reach her just one more time - who hasn't done the same? Quiet, sensitive touches by him are what is so memorable and outstanding.

Marisa Tomei also deserves applause. Her character is likeable, sweet, but not 'sacchariny'. Everyone pulls together to make a precious jewel of a film - the one I'll always put on at the end of a long, cold day to make me feel HUMAN again.

All time favourite.

Summary: The Best Romance (Written In The Stars)
Review: For anyone who dreams of meeting that special someone at that right moment, this is the movie for you! The romance of Peter and Faith (Robert Downey, Jr. and Marisa Tomei) is what people dream about. Simply bumping into the person in Rome, and soon finding yourselves in love is so idealistic, you have have to stop and remind yourself that it is just a movie. However, it makes you wonder - is there that one person out there just for us and it's just a matter time before you find them? It's such a beautiful and this movie only makes it come true. A romance written in the stars is truly a romance worth having!

Summary: a very charming movie
Review: The story of a young woman (Marisa Tomei) who travels all the way to Italy to search for her soulmate even though she is getting married in days. All the performers are great especially Bonnie Hunt. I hope she wins some awards someday. Beautiful scenery of Italy is wonderfully captured in this great looking DVD. Nothing happening in the 5.1 surround sound but again this is not "Die Hard" kind of movies. Get this, you won't be sorry.

Summary: The Best!
Review: I decided to rent this movie knowing nothing about it. I loved it sooo much I watched it 5 days in a row. It's even my boyfriends favorite movie now. If you liked Return To Me, You've Got Mail or Runaway Bride you will fall in love with this one. It is funny and romantic. A five star movie for anyone!
