Summary: cute
Review: Kate Hudson is so funny trying to make the guy brake up with her...I laughed so hard!! A little prank turns into something big for these two. It's a cute tale about finding love in an odd way!

Summary: Kept Me Laughing
Review: Kate Hudson and Mathew McConahey were a match made for comedy. The chemistry between them made the movie. You'll laugh hard and not cry at all. I would've given it a 5, however, the ending is predictable -- just the way we like our love stories to be.

Summary: Predictible w/ a few good jokes
Review: I saw How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days(which, by the way, is a stupid title) on DVD and found myself laughing once in a while, which is strange for a romantic comedy. I could see the "twist!" at the end of the movie about 40 minutes before it took place and I thought about half and hour could have been shaved off. Don't spend money on this one, it's forgettable.

Summary: charming and funny
Review: I really liked this movie. The story is a bit contrived - Kate Hudson is a magazine writer who decides to date a guy, do everything wrong, lose him in ten days, and write a story about it. Matthew McConaughey is an advertising executive who's trying to make a woman fall in love with him in ten days so he can win a big account. Of course they meet eachother. But Hudson and McConaughey are so likable, they have so much chemistry, that the silliness of the story is beside the point.
And the movie is funny which so many romantic comedies are not. I wish there were more movies like this - light, entertaining, beautiful stars, and a sweet story.

Summary: Commercials spoil it...
Review: This would have been a nice, romantic comedy if it hadn't been for the commercials. If you've seen any of the previews on TV don't buy it or rent it or anything. You've seen every good part of the entire movies wrapped in a spiffy 30-sec package.

Sadly this happens with far too many movies, but this was one of the ones that I've seen that has been most spoiled by the previews. Seriously, tease us to want to see it with an appetizer, not the whole 7-course meal!

Summary: How to, indeed.
Review: Look Kate Hudson was born to be star. Matthew McHonaughey born to be a stud. This movie is uneven and really odd at times, but the card game scene is enchanting and at times so are both of the leads.
There are some laughs and some nice moments like I said, but all in all just formulaic romantic-comedy fare. Good, but grows thin.
The extras are nice, one of my favorites is the alternate opening sequence, which because there is a formula to these things gave too much depth to the character of Andie (Hudson). Unfortunate, indeed.
But really this is a cute movie and will be great background.

Summary: GREAT MOVIE!
Review: This movie is great, it's the ultimate chick flick for guys too!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Hilarious
Review: Actually, I give it 4.5 stars.

This is one of the more hilarious movies I've watched this year. It has many unique scenes that one may not laugh at if it was in another movie. Kate Hudson (Oscar nominee) and Matthew (can't spell his last name) deliver to their audiences delightfully. Hudson's behavior alone makes the entire movie as funny as it is. "How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days" is worth watching more than once and worth buying the DVD.

Summary: Male 'Chick Flick'
Review: ...That's what my fiance called it. He laughed all the way through it. When she did something crazy, he'd look at me and give me that look. When he did something crazy, I'd do the same thing. I love Kate & Matthew, to have them in a movie together rocked. This movie was very funny...perfect date movie.
