Summary: Good movie for a rainy Sunday afternoon
Review: This is one of the nicest movies that Melanie Griffith ever starred in (the other is Paradise). I'm from Staten Island (NY), so although they didn't show the nicest parts of the Island, it was still fun to see it in the movies.

Summary: Don't forget Harrison Ford!
Review: Harrison Ford does a wonderful job of bringing out Melania Griffith. Without him, this movie bombs. They play off of each others roles and turn this movie into a keeper. Now where is the DVD version?

Summary: SMART, ENCOURAGING & SEXY
Review: The trio of actors is excellent. The story is very good and show a positive attitude to adopt when you feel like you are the only one to believe in yourself. Not to forget the good performances of Cusack & Baldwin.

Summary: Light-hearted and Uplifting!
Review: This is a very positive movie. It shows how someone who thought she really didn't have a chance in the corporate world, made it with just good common sense. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be uplifted and encouraged.

Summary: Melanie Griffith is EXCELLENT!
Review: I watch this movie constantly! But i am surprised that on the box and credits, the list Sigourney Weaver as the main character. But the movie had great acting all the way through and a interesting plot and i will repeat that Melanie Griffith did a great acting job! This movie has great small roles. For example,Kevin Spacy,Oliver Platt, and Alec Baldwin as her scum boyfriend.I especially enjoyed watching Joan Cusack,as i have always been a fan of hers. This movie is very satifying and i no doubt recommend it!

Summary: DELIGHTFUL
Review: Working Girl is one of those insidiously effective pop movies that seriously gets better with each viewing. It is addictive. Melanie Griffith, while entertaining enough, is supported by an outrageously good ensemble that includes a wonderfully bitchy and self-possessed Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford in a terrific hunky/dorky role, and most of all the irresistably effervescent and original Joan Cusack, who steals each of her too-short scenes. The story exudes a predictable catharsis, and it is intensely satisfying to watch a peasant climb so creatively to where she belongs. The Carly Simon-infused score works quite well; the grand yet folky opening number imbues the movie with an underlying universality that remains intact throughout. Fun fun fun.

Summary: Very smart, sly, sexy, and most of all hilarious.
Review: Mike Nichols never disappoints me. This is a film that I've seen innumerable times, and would watch again any time. From the opening credits (the opening is way up there on my list with the brilliant opening of "The Godfather") to the end, the film never lets you go. This is an unconventional comedy in ways, and a conventional comedy in others. There's a lot of genre game-playing. It is a hilarious film. Joan Cusack has a small role, but she's so funny you want her in every scene. Strongly recommended; I think it's a must in every video library.

Summary: The Ultimate Fantasy
Review: Who wouldn't like to put their two-faced, egotistical, back-stabbing liar of a boss in his or her place? In "Working Girl" we get the chance to live vicariously through Tess (Melanie Griffith) as she initially trusts her boss (Sigourney Weaver) to be on her side, learns of her boss's duplicity and deceit, and then sets out to get what she wants behind her boss's back. You will be cheering for Tess by the end. Way to go, Tess!

Summary: Another 5 Stars Movie with HF
Review: Another Harrison Ford movie that loses nothing in seeing it over and over again! From the moment Jack Trainer sees Tess, it is apparent he is in love with her. From there, it only gets better. The bad girl gets her come-uppance, and the good girl and good boy get what they want... A superb ending, even the lunch-box. Please see this movie, and don't miss the lunch-box episode!

Summary: A gem and a delight,.
Review: This is a modern Cinderella story -- and I love movies in which we root for the little guy (in this case, the little gal) and s/he comes out on top. It leaves you feeling good. Wonderful cast and performances.
