Rating: Summary: This is the best romantic comedy. Review: I love the ending, but I'll leave that to you to love yourself. Well i suggest it for everyone. I assure you a great couple of hours(especially the ending).
Rating: Summary: Great movie! Review: This movie is my favorite movie. It was so funny. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore did an awesome performance. I am so happy that my 2 favorite stars are in it, Adam and Drew! I never get sick of this movie, I can wtach it any day! I own the movie and you cannot believe how many times I watched it. The music is great, too. If you havn't seen it yet, I suggest you go to the video store and rent it if you're looking for a great, funny movie!! :)
Rating: Summary: Just a very sweet movie Review: I really enjoy this movie, mostly because it's so upbeat and because it's very funny. I especially liked Jon Lovitz' brief appearance as Jimmie Moore, the smarmy rival wedding singer. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you grew up through this time period.
Rating: Summary: One of the best feel good movies of the decade Review: "The Wedding Singer" is truly Adam Sandler's best film. It brilliently captures the feelings of Sandler's character with cheesy 80's love songs that would typicly grace through the head of a $60 dollor-a-gig wedding singer in 1985. Adam Sandler does not keep all the gags to himself in this production as he did in the overblown but still entertaining "Billy Madison". He allows his friends in the smaller roles(Jon Lovitz and Steve Buscimi) to steal the show. I own "The Wedding Singer" and only watch it when I am already gitty. Maybe that is why the cynical critics did not take this strong of appreciation for what I think is the feel good movie of the decade.
Rating: Summary: A perfect, must see, one of a kind 80's movie! I loved it! Review: This movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen! It was a flashback to the 80's and the awesome love story also kept you in your toes. I ended up buying both soundtraks and also the movie. It's almost like you are in the movie relating to all of the characters! A must see for anyone. It's a one of a kind hit destined to become a movie classic!
Rating: Summary: A really great movie that you will want to keep. Review: ttt true to life .hought that the movie was very good, and it wa
Rating: Summary: Adam and Drew are great together!!! Review: Adam is OK but I love Drew. The Wedding Singer unites them in a cute comedy set in the '80's. I may have liked it a lot because I was a teen in the '80's and can identify with the plot.
Rating: Summary: Fun Movie To Watch Review: The Wedding Singer is a fun movie to watch even though it's not a classic. The guy who looks like Boy George and sings a Culture Club song is pretty hilarious. Adam Sandler does a good job in his role and so does Drew Barrymore. There are some pretty good songs from the 80s heard throughout the movie. Billy Idol is pretty cool in the movie too. A good representation of the 80s. Not the greatest movie, but still has some funny moments.
Rating: Summary: Billy Idol!! What more can I say? Review: This movie is a hilarious time capsule back to the 80's, magnified of course. The story is cheesy, but come on, the whole movie is a feel good cheesy high. and Billy Idol was really mocking himself. wow.
Rating: Summary: "I Have a Microphone and You Don't" Review: The songs are great which take me back to my high school days. I think Adam Sandler is hilarious! I have to totally disagree with a jealous viewer from NJ who did nothing but put down the talented Sandler. Drew Barrymore is good, too, and I like Billy Idol's cameo near the end! Best line in the movie: "I have a microphone and you don't."
