Summary: Fun Movie with Super Acting
Review: It is a super romanic comedy. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are great; they made the movie fun and enjoyable to watch.

Summary: Hanks and Ryan Are A Superb Team!
Review: As they did in "Joe Versus the Volcanoe" and "Sleepless In Seattle", Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks set yet another superb film on fire. Although there are too many coincidences, it is still a wonderful story of love, hate, humor and an all around good feeling type of movie.

Ryan shows her spendid cuteness and "vulnerability" to the online world and Hanks makes an excellent point in the movie of testing the strength of "real" and "cyber" love. The movie makes us all wonder who we actually converse with on the Internet and if that special someone is actually the person you just "love to hate".

As an Internet Strategies Consultant, I found this movie to be a reflection of the online love triangle and a definate similarity to how many of us feel when we find a mysterious love online. It was more of a movie gearing towards "newbies" online than those who have actually worked in the industry for quite some time, but it was a great way to bring the idea of Internet romance to the screen.

However, not to impune the intellect of the editors and the director, but the plot was a bit raw since in real life we would never hold back what we did careerwise and other important factors that may help generate a long term relationship. (even if we had to make it up).

All in all, the movie gave me a great feeling.

Summary: 'You've Got Mail' delivers perfectly, but arrives late.
Review: The romantic comedy from the makers of 'Sleepless in Seattle' is a fun and oft-times hillarious movie. It is just unfortunate that the worst parts of "You've Got Mail" have been inherited from the Ephrons' previous collaboration, namely pacing. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have got to be one of Hollywood's most believable on-screen couples, which seems to boost the film and the marvellous script to a higher level. From supporting characters to memorable lines, "Mail" appears to have it all, including the right to claim itself as the romantic comedy of the year, a title held by such films as "As Good As it Gets" and "While You Were Sleeping." The plot twists were marvelous and the story was intelligent. But someone needs to tell Nora and Delia Ephron that slow pacing is not suspenseful and frustrating antics are not a part of normal life, which makes movie-going so much fun. In the end, "You've Got Mail" knows exactly how to please the audience, but just can't get it out quick enough.

Summary: Too smooth to be true!!
Review: Okay, we have Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks as our two main characters. It sounds good so far. Then we watch the movie and think,"it's a very romantic and pleasant love story but it's too smooth to be true!!". I won't deny the fact that I enjoyed watching this movie but I couldn't understand how Kathleen Kelly could forgive and love Joe Fox so quickly after what he's done to her and her mother's store. Some people might say that's the power of love but I won't be convinced by that. Nevertheless, it's a movie which makes you want to find someone special on the net.

Summary: The best
Review: I loved this movie. It was wonderfully romantic and enjoyable. I watched it three times in the movie theater, and I'd go again if it was still in theaters. Anyway, I loved the part about Pride and Prejudice since that is one of my all-time favorite books.

Summary: LOVENET
Review: Isn't it amazing that this story does happen to anyone of us? This is a truely brilliant movie and I think Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are the most compatible onscreen lovers. For those who are internet enthusiast, do make it a point to watch this movie. :OD

Summary: Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are a formula for success
Review: This movie was so refreshing to watch. Predictable or not, it's a pleasure to watch Hanks and Ryan do their magic on the big screen. The dynamic duo has a chemistry so strong that it makes their relationship and their love so believable. It's definitely a feel good movie and I highly recommend it as a movie to own and re-watch time and again.

Summary: A wonderful date movie
Review: "You've Got Mail" is very respectful of the original movie, "The Shop Around the Corner". It was fun to see the old movie first with Jimmy Stewart and then go and see this one. [Meg Ryan's hair is in places very distracting. It looks like she cut it herself with garden shears and then slept on it for a week.] However, my eleven year old son and I both cried at the end; and the music was really well done. About half way through the movie, Tom Hanks takes over and makes the movie work with the power of his acting ability. A movie I want to own.

Summary: Ok, but too fluffy & unrealistic
Review: 'You've Got Mail' was a cute little movie, esp. considering that Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks were a couple in it, but it's definitely not a must-see. For one thing, it was very predictable. After the first five minutes I knew what was going to happen for the rest of the movie. For another, Joe Fox was just the *perfect* lover. He was extremly romantic, he treated Kathleen like a queen, he never thought of himself, he even set up the little rondevous where he reveals himself as the unseen man of her dreams. How many people do you meet like that? With some neat parts, a long running time and a corny ending, YGM will not go down as a classic, except in the minds of those who like those kind of fluffy movies.
