Summary: I think it is because Drew is in it or else......
Review: ....... I would never have bought it in the first place.
This is really a stupid movie. It is all based on sex and getting revenge.
This is definitely not my fav movie of Drew.

The movie is about this guy who is obsessed with Drew. But he's really dangerous and violent
In a way she likes it at first, but then he almost tries to rape her, and it's not all that fun anymore.
The rest I think you should see for yourself, if it only were to be because of Drew.

I am giving it only a three because Drew is in it.

Summary: Great movie
Review: A very good movie, wrongly crucisfied by the critics. I was on the edge of my seat watching this film, and you could never tell what was going to happen. Drew Barrymore proved in this film she was going to be the great actress she turned out to be.

Summary: B-Movie Prince Andras Jones
Review: By far, one of the best B movie efforts of the late 80's. A young Ms. Barrymore wiggles, giggles, and flashes coquettish glances underneath the piercing bedroom-eyes stare of B-Movie Prince Andras Jones. Creepy Susan Tyrrell and a bad 'do day Matt Frewer, along with a few other faves round out this great addition to the decade of decadence.

Summary: THIS WAS ONE AWFUL MOVIE!
Review: Drew Barrymore never looked hotter than she did in this movie. She looked around 15, and anyone would be taken by her intensively attractive looks. But this was one terrible movie with some of the worst acting I have ever seen. I do not know how somebody can actully look at this script and act out the ridiculous scenarios. It was written by Tommy Lee Wallace, (who Witch") and Barrymore unfortunately took the part. What was she thinking of starring in garbage like this? She plays a girl who, while traveling with her father, gets stuck in an extremely seedy desert town in Nevada, which would make the place Kurt Russell was trapped in "Breakdown" seem like not such a bad place after all. Caught in this mess of a movie is Dick "Mr. Futterman" Miller, who was in my two favorite movies of all time "Gremlins" and "Gremlins 2", and fell victim to a part in this. Miller was recently in the Joe Dante's work, and keep away from idiotic scripts like these. Pretty much everyone got on my nerves in this film, and you can also manage to girl named Stephanie Walski, as some pigtailed girl who is so dumb that you would think her mother did some serious drugs while pregnant with her. You could imagine that is very possible when you see the mother (Susan Tyrell) a really ugly looking woman who would be the last person to win Mother Of The Year (She should take some pointers from Kathleen Turner in "Serial Mom" on how to be a loving mother). Another thing that is so ridiculous was this one scene where three cast members do a most ridiculous 'Happy Birthday' like song -and -dance to Barrymore. It's so incredibley stupid that I wonder how much of an idiot the actors were feeling when they were shooting the scene. Stay away from this waste of in this movie which could very well be her most annoying performance yet, as some moron broad who could definatly use some fashion tips.

Summary: Great Film About A Girl Growing Up
Review: Drew Barrymore plays Joleen Cox,a girl who wants her dad Charlie to realize that she's "turning 14 tomorrow, not 12." This film does a great job epitomizing white trash and is a great suspense movie for anyone who can handle the scorching desert atmosphere. The movie has a few script flaws made by Drew, but they are made up for by the outstanding performances of Richard Masur as an old hippie and Anthony Rapp(before he did Dazed&Confused and RENT),namely his scenes on the microwave relay and his sweet moment with Drew on a scorching desert plane. If you get this movie for any reason at all,get it for just the fish-sticks scene with Susan Tyrrel and Andras Jones as the ultimate white trash mother and son.

Summary: Creepy B movie with great cast
Review: Drew is a sexually curious 15 year old stranded in some trailer park with her dad. She encounters many bizarre characters and has several eye opening experiences.Nothing too deep, but a fun low budget sleeper with some nice scares and a scene stealing performance by the awesome Susan Tyrrel as the sleazebag trailer park manager.

Summary: The Best Movie You've Never Heard Of
Review: Far From Home is by far one of my favorite movies with such classic lines as 'Did I scare you?' and 'Where are you going? We were playing keep-away!' The reason many people didn't like it,though, was because of the uncomfortable desert setting. But the story is full of subtle details that will require multiple viewings to catch.Sure the movie has one or two script flaws(beware the 'Have you ever...done it' scene and try to ignore some of Drew's narrations)and a poorly-placed sex scene (I'd rather see Drew swimming anyday) but, thanks to a great story and a superb cast,I think this is one of the best movies noone has ever heard of.

Summary: great!
Review: I bought this movie 'cause I'm a big fan of Drew, luckily I liked it! Drew was such a good actress even then and she looked gorgeous! The movie is really exciting and the ending is very surprising. If you're a fan of Drew you'll definitely like it and if you're a fan of thrillers you'll like it as well!

Summary: Drew is fantastic in this film.I saw this film.
Review: I saw this film about a year after it was released an I enjoyed it. It's one of those films you don't know who you can beleive or trust. It's a great film and I try to watch it every time it's showing on cable.
