Summary: The World Is Yours
Review: This in my opinion is not only the definitive gangster movie of the 20th century, but also by far Brian De Palma and Al Pacinos best work.

This is a movie about a cuban hit-man turned international cocaine-dealer. it is also a story about greed, and what can happen to a man if he is givin everything he ever wanted.

Scarface is a classic of american films, and everyone who enjoys gangster, or any type of movie, should see it.

Review: This movie is by far the most detailed for it's time. The scenes are so real! The cast did a fantastic job Reinacting the Cuban Refugee War. And what can I say about Al Pacino,,,,,HE'S NOT EVEN CUBAN! The guy is Amazing. I think after evry person sees this movie they will try to immitate the accent Al pacino portrays.

Summary: Without A Doubt One Of Pacino's Best Performaces
Review: Al Pacino In A Strong Powerful performances headlines a steller
cast in one of the most violent explicit langauge bloody gore
gangster film of all time "SCARFACE" With a title like that you
know you going to watch a corny love story filled with boring
love interludes but instead you watch a cuban refugee named Tony Montanna sprung from Fidel Castro's Prisons In Cuba and Cuts himself a violent and dangerous path to become top of Miami's drug trade To be eventually brought down in a trap he made for
himself. It's amazing to see Pacino's character go from being
smalltime to the big time with ruthless efficenicy But it ends
up in his own personal destruction when he gets hooked on cocaine
and letting his newfound wealth tear everything down. Brain De Palma the master of blood and violence take the viewer on a journey through the vison of a ruthless indivudual who will
stop at nothing to get what he wants. Memorable scene is of
course the chainsaw cutting scene when Montanna and his friend
are cornered by a trio of colombians in an aparment during a
Drug/Money exchange that turns bloody. That scene was the setting
of violent occurences in the entire film if you can survive seeing that bloody masscre then wacthing this film won't bother
you but if you're just a tad bit squimmih i wouldn't recommend
it. But Pacino does deliver a commanding performnace with a
cuban accent and a long scar on his face who can hold the viewer's attention no matter what he does a terrfic film on
all levels.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: Scarface is a great movie. I would say that it is one of, if not the best gangster/drug movies of all time. It is a remake of a true story of Al Capone. Al Pacino plays Scarface, aka Tony Montana. He is a Cuban immigrant who immigrates to Florida as part of the people that Castro released. This time was known as the Cuban crime wave. Tony works his way to the top of the world by killing and selling. The movie is very realistic, except for the ending, where he should have died much sooner. Overall, this movie is a classic. If you like gangster/drug movies, you will love this one. I highly recommend purchasing this film.

Summary: This is my favorite movie
Review: First of all I would like to start by saying that this is my favorite movie. When Palma and Pacino team up they are spectacular like in there other performance Carlito's Way (excellent film). As a matter of fact this movie is so good that this is the only place on the net where i can find it. This movie is an excellent drama about the rise and downfall of drug-dealing underboss Tony Montana (played by Pacino)not only is the movie good but the acting is also excellent. This movie definately deserves 5 stars, who ever gives it anything less dosn't know what they're talking about

Summary: Soft-hearted need not apply.........
Review: I got tired of seeing the negative reviews for this movie. Man people this is a GANGSTER FILM! What do you expect Pacino to do take a walk in the garden and pick flowers while wondering about the love of his life? HECK NO! This is a GANGSTER movie. Pacino does what GANGSTERS do such as kill, curse, do drugs etc. etc. If you didnt want to see a mobster movie then WHY THE EFF DID YOU WATCH IT? For a person like me, I couldnt stomach some softie love story movie but I wouldnt bash it because it may be a good movie but just isnt my cup of kool-aid. You dont wanna see mob activities dont push play on the DVD or VCR when this is in. SIMPLE.

Despite what 112 will have you think this world aint all Peaches & Cream; aint nothing nice about this film it is just telling you how it is. There are people just like Montana in this world and people like Pfeifer's character (forgot her name) so please step out of your suburbian shell and witness what life these gangsters go through before labeling them 'immoral'. I believe this movie gets bad ratings because it shows the truth ( not hte whole truth but still) and serves as a reality check for some. I do agree that some of the scenes are exaggerated such as the ending but then again I remember THIS IS A MOVIE. It isnt based on real life sequences so why not put some action in this thing? There is such a thing as ACTION in a film.

Now the movie is excellent and is one of my favorites of all-time. Al Pacino turns in arguably his best performance of his career. He does curse a lot but hey guess what the package is RATED R, which means if you are for the faint of heart go rent Alladin(by the way also an excellent movie with character development and a nice story-- but thats beside the point). He comes up with many unforgettable one-liners. A story of a immigrant from Cuba working his way up the ladder by killing, selling, and decieving. Like a natural brother he feels the need to protect his sister from all 'creeps' and is a little overprotective. * I wouldnt want my boys dating my sister either.* Scarface shines in its sheer bluntness, and the attitude of the film. There is no pillsbury doughboy scenes and definitely no apologizing. Many love this film because it keeps it real for lack of a better phrase. The soundtrack is also excellent and many scores from it have been sampled, even if it is a little outdated.

The DVD itself is basically horrible, The sound is terrible and hard to hear at normal volume. The picture is pixelated and not DVD quality. But it does have some nice extras and theatrical trailers.

Overall a great movie if you have the heart to handle it.
