Rating: Summary: Outstanding edge of your seat film Review: I just recently saw this film and was astonished. You never know what is going to happen next. There is a lot of action and suspense throughout the whole thing. If you haven't seen it I recommend you do. It is worth every penny.
Rating: Summary: Almost Great Except.... Review: This movie kicked butt, it would have been a five star winner except for the fact that I did not have a role in this film. I'm a good actor who does a great impersonation of Gabe Kaplan. Honestly though, I enjoyed this movie, the plot kept you thinking, and the action never let up. It was 2 hours of pure bliss and afterwards I gave my girl a kiss...
Rating: Summary: Jackson and Spacey deliver a solid one-two punch! Review: Samuel L. Jackson is establishing himself as a high-caliber (pun intended) actor in this shoot-'em up good guys and not-so-good-guys flick. I thought his performance was very strong, especially when facing down his accusers for the first time. And Kevin Spacey - well, this is just another in a long list of films where his theatrical training pays off huge dividends. The subtleties his character exudes are incredible; this actor says more with his expressions and gestures in one scene than many actors do in a full-length film. The audio will literally blow you away, and the video transfer is top-notch. GET THIS MOVIE!
Rating: Summary: A movie is a movie. Real life is different Review: This movie remembers me when my father-in-law was kidnapped in 1990 by bolivian and peruvian terrorists and held hostage for six months. The strategies and tactics used in the negotiations were very similar to those of the movie. Unfortunately, my father-in-law was killed and, as you can imagine, there was no a happy-ending for the family in this story.
Rating: Summary: NOT Usual Suspects, L.A. Confidential, Jackie Brown Review: Considering the acting talents of both Jackson and Spacey, this movie was extremely disappointing; it would have been a decent straight-to-Cinemax-at-2a.m. movie. The script was painfully trite. Save your time and watch the original Die Hard.
Rating: Summary: An awesome action packed flick. Samuel L Jackson rocks!!! Review: I loved the plot in this flick, it was a mystery, drama, action flick that kept you on the edge of your seats the whole time!!
Rating: Summary: Nonstop, intense action! Jackson is at his peak! Review: The Negotiator is by far the best movie I have seen in a very long time! Samuel L Jackson is fantastic as a veteran Chicago negotiator forced to clear his name. The intensity and action never stopped! This is a MUST have for any drama/action fan. The story line was fresh and didn't miss a beat all the way up to a climax you DIDN'T expect to happen! Spacey was fantastic as a rival negotiator sent to save Jackson's hostages. If you haven't seen it, BUY IT! You won't be disappointed!
Rating: Summary: Good who-dun-it movie, akin to "The Usual Suspects" Review: This is a good who-dun-it movie, akin to "The Usual Suspects" (which also starred Kevin Spacey).
Rating: Summary: Kept my interest all the way through Review: Kevin Spacey has another top role here and doesn't disappoint. Lots of action and excellent 6 speaker sound effects on the DVD.
Rating: Summary: Awesome picture quality... Review: This was the first DVD I viewed on my new Pioneer DVL-888 player. The picture quality was jaw dropping superb on my XBR direct view screen. My only dismay was finding out that many other DVD's aren't at this quality level. I rented Demolition Man, and the picture was noticeably less refined.
