Summary: Jackson and Davis shine in great action film.
Review: One of my favourite and definitively on my top ten list of movies. Geena (Davis) stars as Samantha, a housewife and mother soon to find out her everyday life is not so ordinary as she thought. Eight years ago an attempt to kill her didn't go as planned and resulted in her having amnesia. Her real name is Charly Baltimore, and she is a highly trained CIA agent. Great action, humor and explotions. A must for any Davis-fans.

Summary: An unexpected pleasure
Review: Geena Davis as Sigourney Weaver and Samuel L Jackson as, well, Samuel L Jackson. It's the basic 'Die Hard' formula (people get shot, things blow up), yet told with some suprisingly powerful images and a wit reminiscent of the Cohen brothers. Top gung-ho performances from both principals, and with a barrage of one-liners from Samuel L Jackson and a sublime 'Han Solo' moment that's more Star Wars than anything he gets to do in The Phantom Menace! It may not be art, but it is entertaining.MarkH

Summary: Good ridance to The Long Kiss Goodnight
Review: This is one of the most incomprehensible action movies in recent years. It is a mix between Point of No Return and Rambo, and the result is a total mess. Geena Davis awakens from amnesia to find herself possessed of several unusual skills and character traits. Enter Samuel L. Jackson as a shady private eye who offers to help Davis piece together her puzzle of a life. What turns up is Davis learning that she has a past life as an assassin for the CIA. Shane Black (who's written so many good action flicks) bombs this time in the comprehension and continutity departments. Too many minor characters (such as G.D. Spradling as the President) mire the pace. And the constant need for over-the-top stunts makes the plot seem like an afterthought. Granted, Davis and Jackson do a yeoman job of acting through it all. But overall their efforts are diluted by twist-a-plot conspiracies and doublecrosses that require one explosion, shootout, and miraculous escape after another. In the end, good ridance to The Long Kiss Goodnight.

Summary: The best action dialogues I've known!
Review: This is really a great action movie. And the dialogues between Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson are just great. Of course there is a great deal of fantasy and you may not believe whatever happens on the screen but what the hell! All movies are like that but not all worth every penny you paid for the ticket or a cassette. This one is. If you want to have fun and tickle your nerves then watch it.

Review: This movie is clearly a very good movie! Geena Davis plays at her top level, like in Thelma and Louise, or A League of their Own. Samuel L. Jackson is a smash joke machine! This hit movie is about a woman (Geena Davis) whom finds her past as a US assassin. She uncovers more about others, information that people would kill her to keep tucked away. Samuel L. Jackson is Mitch, a man who helps her uncover the secrets of this past. Jackson and Davis clearly are a great pair! Running time of 120 minutes, rated R for violence and profanity. Review: Yet another example of why I never believe film critics. The critics above say this movie sucks and they couldn't be further from the truth. If you like non stop action, impossible special effect sequences, fiesty characters, plot twists, and swash-buckling heros, you'll like this movie. Geena Davis rocks and Sam Jackson is halarious. The bad guys are SOOOO bad and the good guys have enough character flaws to make them interesting. Check out this flick!!!!
