Rating: Summary: Very good Review: Okay, it seems from the reviews prior that you either really like this movie or you don't. Yet - I can't see why you wouldn't. The movie is NOT your typical thriller. It twists and turns and at times you wonder "hmmmm...maybe I had that all wrong". The longer I watched the movie the more it pulled me in. Add to that, it never lets itself get off track and become some typical teenager slash flick or resort to cheap effects to keep you on edge. To me - this movie was more like a "Silence of the Lambs" where the tension is built on mind games and keeping you guessing. If you like your thrills without the blood or mindless gimicks, get this movie (or at least rent it first).
Rating: Summary: Vapid Entertainment Review: Skeletons in the Closet is a head-game style flick asking: Who's the Bad Guy? The father of a disturbed teenager starts to believe that his son is a serial killer. The son, for his part, seems to enjoy messing with his father's head. Linda Hamilton plays the father's girlfriend, who is caught in the middle between father and son, with both telling her that the other is paranoid.Overall, this movie was a bit over reaching and predictable. There were no surprises and the script fails to deliver on the potential drama of the story. The acting in this movie is quite good and does help to deliver it from made for TV status. In fact, I have to wonder what Linda Hamilton was doing in this movie at all. Either her career is on the way down or her agent needs to suggest that she be more picky with her roles. Truly, her character could have been fully eliminated from the script without really losing anything. I say go ahead and watch. It's not too bad, if you don't expect too much. It will at least help you to burn a couple of hours with some mindless entertainment. We all need that sometimes. For DVD collectors: This DVD has basically nothing of interest. There are no extras beyond production notes, cast&crew, and the trailer. Kinda disappointing on that front.

Rating: Summary: Great Movie Review: Skeletons In The Closet was a really cool movie! I recently added this DVD to my own collection, and I'm glad I did! It may not have been the greatest phsychological thriller in the world, but it was definately worth watching. I was very impressed with Jonathan Jackson's performace as Will Reid's (Treat Williams) 18-year old son with some deep, emotional problems. Williams was great as Jackson's paranoid father who undoubtedly has some issues of his own. Linda Hamilton was O.K. with the part she was given, even though her role could have been completely omitted from the script and not have changed the movie one bit. This movie is definately worth watching!
Rating: Summary: skeletons in the closet Review: This movie was fabulous! It was thrilling and constanly had you asking: What is really going on here? If you like a puzzle you will like this movie. Jonathon Jackson is better then he has ever been and Treat Williams and Linda Hamilton are great as well. To anyone who enjoys a good thriller with a twist you will enjoy this!
Rating: Summary: I was suprised, I admit. Review: Well, I saw this because it has Jonathan Jackson in it and I find him to be a wonderful actor. However, I was expecting it to be a bit, well, lame. Not to knock but I guess I somehow formed a negative overall attitude. Then I watched it. And I was suprised. I will say that I thought Treat's expression in the first scene was a bit annoying, not very believable, but after that the movie really picked up. It really isn't so much of a thriller as a movie about a troubled family. JJ does an AMAZING job of portraying a troubled teen. I was stunned by his performance. The very last scence, well second to last (if you've seen it you know what I'm talking about) blew me away. JJ floored me. I was stunned by his performance in that scene as well as the movie on a whole. I recommend this. It isn't the best movie in the world but I was impressed. VERY impressed with JJ. Give it a shot.
Rating: Summary: What? Review: Were these other people watching the same movie as us? This was one of the worst movies that I have seen in a long time. Amazon sells tons of great movies: this isn't one of them. I cared about the plot of the movie for approximately .13 seconds before I gave up. The acting reminded me of a "PBS" special, and the rest of the movie was so bad that we skipped a few chapters in the middle just to try to get to the end. I would have had more fun putting me hand in a blender for 82 minutes then watching that movie. I plan to send the producers a bill for my time, but I'll never be able to really recover it. The ending of this movie was more predictable then Titanic. Don't buy this..in fact, don't even rent it. Tell your friends not to either. Heartache.
