Review: This movie was soooooooo bad. 1. You know what's going to happen next. 2. The evil girl is not scary but annoying 3. It's worst than any shows my sister watches "dawson's creek" or "gilmore girls" this is absolutely dumb and do not waste your time. It doesn't even deserve 1 star!!!!!!

Summary: Swimfan the best film of 2002
Review: Ben Cronin {Jesse Bradford} has it all. A beautiful girlfriend Amy, a looking good swimming scholarship, a good job, that is until Madison Bell played by the mega beautiful & talented Erika Christensen arrives in town. She becomes obsessed with Ben, but when he turns her down, she tells herself If I can't have you, not one can! She nearly kills his girlfriend, gets him fired from his job, & makes him loose his scholarship. A major showdown occurs at the end where a desperate & crazy Madison has Amy handcuffed to a chair and ready to drop her to the pool! Will Ben save Amy? Or will Madison get what she wants? Swimfan is full of surprises! A keep you on the edge of your seat thriller! A total blast! You will cherish every moment of Swimfan! 2 BIG thumbs up!

Summary: Fatal Attraction: You ain't got JACK on this movie!!
Review: Unlike some people, I never could watch a movie like Fatal Attraction and believe for one minute that Michael Douglas could cheat on Ann Archer and pick a dog like Glen Close to be the "lucky" adultress. Now Ben Cronin cheating on Shiri Appleby and picking Erika Christensen to be the adultress? I can TOTALLY believe that!! That woman is a feakin' bombshell!! She's also, in my opinion, a great actress. Seriously. Would you think that somebody who looks SO angelic could be a devious, murderous psychopath? Not me!! Erika did a fabulous job!! You never knew what to expect, and were always totally surprised with whatever she did. Ben Cronin also did a fabulous job of playing the unsuspecting jock who life crumbles around him because due to a tawdry one night stand. I just LOVED this movie!! Utterly suspensful!! This movie will have you on the edge of you seat!! 90 minutes of fabulous entertainment!!

Summary: One Of My Top Ten Teen Films
Review: This film was great. It had a good storyline and a good cast. Also, the ending was good how it seemed it had ended when Madison was arrested, and i did expect the credits to roll when the gunshots were sounded, but i liked it because it didn't end there. I think the whole psycho thing with Madison was rushed. The film could of been longer and let her build up her 'obsession'. The storyline about Ben being a bad-ass before the film should of been shown a bit at the beginning so we could of got an idea of his changed character. Overall though, this was a very good film, and a good soundtrack. Jesse Bradford was good in Bring It On, and i was pleased to see him have a lead role in this.

Review: I saw it twice on VHS Tape, and it was good. It really is a sad picture that Madison does not get the love of her life, and ends off dying in the water in the end in where she confronted Ben Cronin, and his first girlfriend.
Critics always compare this movie to Fatal Attraction, but I do not see this, this is something Unique and Special for its time, and always will be. The character of Madison does fall in love with Ben & to bad that the story did not go in a direction that the fan wanted; in where love conquered all. I liked it personally, and i liked this cute blonde of Erika Christensen playing Madison. I think she(erika christensen) has a great pair of boobs. I really enjoy watching love stories, but this to me was personally to sad. I was actually cheering on for the blondie to fall in love. I am tired of all these reviews that say that the character of Madison Bell was psychotic. I do not believe so. It was all about Love, not obsession. I really enjoyed the pool love scene between cronin and bell; man and woman together;kissing and embracing:beautiful. Swimfan is recommended; I do hope that Erika Christensen writes her Own Love story(s) one day in where happy endings occur between her and the male characters she decides to cast in her future motion films. I do hope that her company "Endless Productions" goes into full Orbit doing nothing,but beautiful Love stories that promote Optimism, Love, and the relationship love between a Man, and Woman. Christensen is simply Electric in everything that she does(when imitating characters) but this is my opinion. Any way Swimfan is recommended. I think you will like it.We all want a Swimfan Love situation in our lives whether one agrees with it or not.

Summary: I liked it...
Review: This movie was pretty good. I have not seen Fatal Attraction, so that might have something to do with it. It was pretty predictable, but just from watching the trailers or previews you know what it's about and what's going to happen. I think the actors did a great job, and, to the reviewer who wrote on December 10, 2003 whose title was: SwimFan85 Honest Evaluation (by the way, the movie was called "Swimfan" not "SwimFan 85") you shouldn't see a movie just because the actors are "hot" or whatever; really, I would have watched that movie even if they were the ugliest people. You know why? Because the plot was still pretty interesting and the actors did a good job with what they had. Anyway, I think all three of the actors you mentioned are pretty above average in the looks department anyway. :) All in all, I can say: I really am not the best judge for movies, because these are the kinds of movies I like. I liked it, and my friends all liked it. I think you should watch it on TV (it's currently on HBO) or rent it, and form your own opinion. The actors did a good job and it's pretty short, so you won't be wasting too much of your time if you don't like it.

Summary: Could Have Been More Intense
Review: Unlike Fatal Attraction, this movie just wasn't intense enough. Thriller movies like these should have plenty of events that lead to an explosive, violent ending because this is what makes it interesting and popular like Fatal Attraction. It was somewhat violent, but not enough for me to like it.

Summary: Havent we seen this before?
Review: You know, i really really wanted to walk away liking this movie. Even throughout all the predictable and semi-implausable scenes i still hoped for the best. Well, i cant say it was a terrible movie, i have seen worse. The problem with this movie is that it isnt very original, and that makes it flounder and die when compared to other movies with similar themes, like the great Fatal Attraction, or Clint Eastwood's Play Misty for me. If taken as a stand alone movie and ignoring its much better predecessors, it can be good. When compared....it cant stack up.

Summary: See it for Erika
Review: This is a standard-issue stalker thriller (modeled on "Fatal Attraction"). After 15 minutes you'll pretty much figure out what's going to happen. But maybe you'll keep watching because of Erika Christensen's turn as the obsessed Madison Bell. With her glittering blue eyes she's believable as a stalker. She could have just showed up, taken the money, and gone home, but she actually tried to earn her salary, for which we can be grateful. The film just zips along. The film makers know that you know how it goes, and don't waste much time with explanations and expositions. They whole thing is "by the numbers"; at several points along the way they had a chance to really surprise the audience, but they didn't.

Review: Yes, the story deals about Love, infidelity, and madness,
but if you look at the movie at a higher level in all aspects
and do not get blinded by the true reality; one will find out
that this movie has or is missing alot of elements. The story was good, but the time this movie lasted was really
to short.This movie titled, "Swimfan" is really like 90 minutes long, this is just like "Tuck Everlasting" lasting 88 minutes.
So, Swimfan is really a short movie. The ending of Swimfan is really not that clear if you see it twice you will find out that the ending is really not that clear. Clear? If Madison Bell dies or not. I also must say that i received a mail from Fox saying that a Swimfan part 2 is not in the plans. And last, people might get mad at this, but the actors are really average looking or a little above average in looks, but not an issue in where erika christensen, shiri appleby and jesse bradford are really very beautiful people because frankly they are not. If Rocco Siffredi was the Ben Cronin of this movie, it be pact with gals, and if the erika christensen was a beautiful russian woman with a fit, tight, and voluptuous body, there is no doubt in my mind that swimfan would have succeeded in higher numbers at the box office. erika christensen has good chemistry there is no doubt about that, but in the looks dept. she cleary is no Leslie Glass, julia suhkereva, or Seka. Recommended or Not. Rent it, and see for yourself.
