Rating: Summary: one of the greatest movies ever! Review: The movie it self is very good and interesting but when you seethe end it just makes you see the whole movie in a different, betterway. I think it's one of the best film noir/suspense movies I ever saw.
Rating: Summary: Great movie. Great actors. Perfect ending! Review: What a sleeper hit this movie was. I never saw any previews for this movie to be in theaters. I rented it and it was the best $3.50 I ever spent. Spacey and the screenwriter definitely earned their oscars. Especially Mr. Screenwriter. The dialogue was tremendous. You'll also love the ridiculous accent of Fenster played by my fellow Hispanic Benicio Del Toro.
Rating: Summary: Excellent movie Review: This movie has the best ending of any movie I have ever seen. It breaks the mold of movies with predictable plots (finally)!
Rating: Summary: Jaw-dropping!! Review: Simply put, the greatest ending in the history of motion pictures
Rating: Summary: ONE OF THE GREATEST MIND PUZZLERS OF ALL TIME!! Review: An incredible achievement for Brian Singer. An extraordinary film that keeps you guessing all the way to the end. The climax comes near the end of the movie with an ingenious surprise. The flashbacks are suspenseful gripping your mind making you rethink your own instincts when the film is over. The film demostrates how people stereotype charecteristics in others and how we can be wrong on our own judgements. Pay very close attention to names in this movie or you are going to lose track of what is going on. Kevin Spacey recieved a well deserved Oscar for his supporting role and because of this movie, I rent other movies with him in it. Destined to be a classic or in the hall of fame of films. Very similar style to Stephen King. A MUST SEE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SEEN IT!! A collectors item if you have it on DVD or VHS.
Rating: Summary: One of the best suspense and twst plots ever Review: The Usual Suspects is one of the quiet classics. Viewers will definitely want to immediately watch the movie again once its over. Kevin Spacey does an excellent job showing his versatility and brilliance as an actor. The GodFather series is the only other film that surpasses this wrok. A definite must have for any DVD or Video collector!!
Rating: Summary: UNBELIEVABLE! Review: This film ranks right up there as one of my favorites of all time. The whole movie is a series of events that leads up to, in my opinion, the best ending in the history of motion pictures. This is one you have to see.
Rating: Summary: Great Movie! Review: This movie is on my list for one of the best movies ever. I would recommend every get this. Expect your mouth to be dropping at the end. BTW the music is great too.
Rating: Summary: One of the best ending sequences ever Review: Number One: Superb acting. Spacey and Palminterri (Sorry, I butchered his name.) play off each other brilliantly. All five "suspects" give great performances, and these are criminals, people, of course they're going to be highly profane. Number Two: Awesome script. Well-deserved Oscar. Number Three: Yes, anyone who hasn't seen this movie and is reading these reviews knows this movie has a kick-a** (Is Amazon that picky?) ending. It twists your reality upside down, and even on the second viewing, the movie keeps your interest, as you try to unravel the plot even more. Favorite scenes: The soundless shot of the coffee cup falling to the floor and breaking, and (a scene which can only be appreciated on the second viewing) when Chazz walks in and asks Spacey "a question" and Spacey bangs his fist on the table and yells, "Ah, f**k!" Trust me. It'll make sense after you see it.
Rating: Summary: Expect the unexpected, but believe; the best suspense ever!! Review: This is a film that will take you into a web of deception, lies but still seems sooo true. You will not and I repeat will not see a better suspense. Unlike most movies where you can say quite easily who dunnit, this is a no, no is suspects (as my friends and I affectionly call it). I recently recommend it to a friend who always boast that she can tell what and how the plot will unfold within the half of any movie. I told her all about this movie (the whole if it) she watched it and all she could say was " You've got to see this movie, even when is was finised I still did not belive, you've got to see it." I had to remind her that it was me who suggested that she watches the movie in the first place. "... the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled is convincing the world that he did'nt exsist .... and like this ..... he's gone"
