Summary: That is Blatantly Cruel To Animals!!!
Review: I saw only five seconds of this film and I want to throw up. What kind of ... would shoot, write, and/or even produce a film with a cat exploding in a microwave? That is just blatantly cruel to animals. Humans' being murdered is one thing, they can at least defend themselves. Everyone involved in this production should take a good hard look at the mirror and be ashamed of themselves. Next, they should look at what Alfred Hitchcook did in his films. They all at least had some style and they scared the pants off you. I realize that this is just a film, but blatant curelty to animals is not cool and should not be shown in any meduim whatsoever!!!

Summary: THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE BANNED PERIOD!
Review: No, I didn't see this film from beginning to end, but anyone who stick a cat in the microwave should be killed with extreme prejudice. Killing animals like that shouldn't be tolerated and they should be reported to the Humane Society without haste. I realize that this is just a movie, but there are other ways to show someone (both visually and through Dramatic Writing) is pyshco without killing innocent animals.

Summary: A bad bad movie
Review: First of all, the film goes on the premise that Patrick Bateman was a serial killer. If anyone reading this understood the original American Psycho at all they'd have realized that Patrick was NOT a serial killer at all.
His so-called murders were manifestation of his own aggressive imagination and a result of the fabricated world he chose to surround himself with. The only thing Patrick Bateman ever killed was his own soul.
American Pscycho 2 is nothing more than a slasher flick and actually attempts to change the unalterable meaning of the original.

Summary: Carving A Path To Your Dreams
Review: Getting into the FBI is hard, even for a student that shines in the brightest realms of academia. Besides being studious, one has to also be willing to go that extra mile in order to open a doorway to such a vaunted position, joining in various afterschool activities and in less mentionable resume-filler as well. Sometimes these mean that you'll have to compete with people as skilled as you are only to see someone else thwart your plans by sleeping with your professor or by sabotaging your plans with the splash of their family's fortune. That, however, isn't much of a problem when losing isn't actually an option and when murder is the best methodology for shift everyone's gaze toward you and your achievements.

When looking into American Psycho 2: All American Girl, a few things have to first be noted and then remembered to make the experience an enjoyable one. To begin with, this isn't American Psycho and is connected only that lovely film in only the slightest of manners. Our beloved guide to the 1980s is given credit as the beginning of the murderous intentions housed within our main character's mind, having been tied up while Bateman murdered her baby-sitter and almost finding herself killed as well. It was only a well-timed escape from her binding and a well-placed strike that freed her and left Bateman at the sad end of a stellar career that would have either made Ellis laugh or sigh in disbelief. Secondly, this movie isn't really meant to be taken seriously, as can be seen in the casting of Mila Kunis (That 70's Show) and William Shatner (Kingdom of the Spiders) as two of the more important focal points of the movie. Third, the murders in the movie are meant as something of a dark joke and not as a hidden pasttime, letting Kunis get away with sloppy craftsmanship only to further the plot and to let her chase the position of her dreams. Lastly, one has to keep in mind that this is a B-movie and, as such, its campy plot and cutesy killer are going to act in a manner that isn't as serious as some might have wanted it to be.

If those four things can be met with a nod and a smile, then you'll probably enjoy American Psycho 2. Still, if you are hesitant bnecause you expected more, at least look into it as a rental option and expect a night of little laughs and scenes doused in the bloody aspects that collegic career moves can oftentimes leave behind.

Summary: brilliant little movie
Review: at first, i need to say, that "american psycho" by bret easton ellis had a deep impact on me - and i call myself a hardcore fan of the social critics that his work includes and the work itself. and i am not easily pleased (as every hardcore fan my be...).
well, but despite what other reviewers said, i was very surprised, because this movie has a fresh idea and plot, a nice and well playing cast and is worth to wear the american psycho title.
ok, if you liked american psycho and read the book - this movie is completely different. it does not contain any social parodies or is meant the way, bret easton ellis wanted to express. and it sure lacks the depth of batemans story.
but this isnt needed at all - because ellis made the best out of it. so there is enough room for new ideas...
this movies intention isnt to let you learn or think - it is to entertain. and entertain it does. the plot holds surprises to the end and there is more than only one laugh hidden inside.
camera, score and pace are great. and if you can abstract a little bit from the original, you'll sure like this movie, too!

Summary: Very Original and Cute.
Review: Not quite a sequel to American Psycho. This movie has a lot of good stuff. it is funny, cute, sexy, and stylish. This movie is worth it. probobly more enjoyable to people who have not seen the first one. Very Dark, Dark comedy. Almost every murder has a funny wisecrack or the mood is off set. Hilarious at times. very good soundtrack. Although that circus music does get a bit annoying at times. It is sort of like...if Cher from CLUELESS was a serial killer and they made a movie about it...you would probobly get AMERICAN PSYCHOII: ALL AMERICAN GIRL. Very attractive lead actress (Mila Kunis)from that 70's show and WILLIAM SHATNER has a fair sized role as her college professor. Worth a rental. I bought it and watch it all the time. it is more of a comedy than a horror movie, and it tries to be and succeeds. RENT it or BUY it!!

Summary: Don't bother...
Review: This movie was not named American Psycho 2 until the very end, it had a complete different title. Then the studios thought it would fit in with the orginal American Psycho, so they added a few scenes to make it look like a sequel...But believe me, it is not.
I wasnt pleased with this movie at all. The orginal was a true dark classic. This wasnt. ...BR>All in all, don't bother with this movie, unless your a guy and just wanna see that hott girl from "that '70s show" in some tight shirts! :D

Summary: Insult to injury
Review: If the intent was to make a sequel that horribly maligned, disrespected, and humiliated the legacy of the original film, than this movie should be hailed as genius. It succeeded on all those fronts and had the added bonus of barely being a bearable film. Let me show you a few examples that exemplify my point: (I guess you could call these SPOILERS)

1. Within the first five minutes of the sequel, this film manages to refute the entire ending of the first film while simultaneously murdering the original's big bad killing machine Patrick Bateman. I don't want to seem sexist, but I would be remiss if I didn't point out that the aforementioned killing machine Bateman is murdered by a little girl.

2. The main character of this film commits senseless, sloppy murder after senseless, sloppy murder at a college for FBI STUDENTS! I think this should be more insulting to the FBI than to the original film, but let me leave you with one other point.

3. Although the film is narrated by the main character, who is explaining her obsessions and rationales for her behavior throughout the whole movie, those obsessions and rationales inexplicably yet radically change halfway through the film...P>If you need more than those three reasons not to see or buy this film, than there is nothing more I can do to help you, as pointing out the problems with this film... Please take my advice, you'll be happier in the long run.

Summary: No, no! I'm so confused!!!
Review: ahh... American Pyscho 2. It had it's ups and downs compared to the first one. First of all, having that major hot chick from "That 70's Show," kicked ..... There was a great part when the kitty was put in the microwave. And then she only killed 8 people instead of 40. I'm hoping there will be and 3rd American Pyscho. It would be pretty cool.

Summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Review: This movie deserves 0 stars.
I've read the book and watched American Psycho.

THIS MOVIE IS A DISGRACE TO PATRICK BATEMAN!

Reasons NOT to see this movie:
1) The entire plot is predictable within the first 10 minutes.
2) Barely any Gore, little blood, not a horror movie.
3) It has a "cute" ending.
4) Mila doesn't get naked, no nudity whatsoever.

Save your money for the book "American Psycho" by Bret Easton Ellis.
