Review: A thriller not to be missed! Over the years, historians and mystery writters, fiction and non-fiction alike, have had to "fill in the gaps" where old Jack is concerned. Since there have been more books written about Jack the Ripper than any other serial killer in history, the task of out doing the previous movie producers and writters is not an easy one. But it has been accomplished in this film as far as I am concerned. Ted Bundy is probably turning over in his grave! Fans of suspense thrillers, as well as serial killers fanatics, will be wowed, as well as the Johnny Depp.

Review: Well, the Hughes's have done a job here, in some instances with absolute brilliance. This is a dark and moody meditation on the Ripper, as stylish and delirious as Johnny Deep's Inspector Aberline's fever-dream hallucinations. Beautifully shot and composed with clever uses of the camera and an evocation of those foggy streets, filled with terror and panic.

Review: It was just over 2 hours long but the time flew by and there weren't any wasted scenes. Johny Deep always manages to pick amazing roles in well done movies and this movie does not disappoint.

Review: From Hell is an outstanding masterpiece, because the attention to detail is meticulous and the directors maintain a high degree of tension troughout the film, quite a trick with a well-known story. There is quite a bit of gore, but then how can you do a Ripper movie without gore? All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with this effort, no doubt the best Ripper movie ever made.

Summary: Not another Slasher-movie? - No it isn't!
Review: The visionary and extremely dark enviroment is quite Oscar[tm] worthy, the acting is superb by absolutly every actor/actress and the level of violence and gore is not recommending this film to children. The story of a conspiracy and a hint of religion is brought up so well that I almost melted in my seat from the genius and perfection of it. This film goes up on my 'favourit movies' list and I recommend it to anybody who thinks they may like it.

Review: The Legend The Hughes' brothers incorporate as many conspiracy theories as they can into the plot. They also make their solution believable. The ending makes sense historically and is just plain great. The movie based-off century-old evidence, and things were violent back then, so this film(as stated above)is GRITTY.

Review: And that is the best way to enjoy this movie, just relax and let the story unfold and enjoy it for what it is, a fine murder mistery.
