Summary: The best movie of all times
Review: I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it, and I have seen it so many times now I couldn't even tell you how many! This has to be the best movie of all times, it will make you laugh and cry! Teddy, Vern, Chris, and Gordy will touch and bring back memories of all the friends you have had in your life, and it makes you think of things you and your best friends done when you were a kid, I would tell everyone to watch this movie, and to buy it, I own a copy and its the best movie I ever bought!

Summary: River Phoenix is awesome.
Review: Now this is a good movie.I particularly enjoyed watching River Phoenix play the role of Chris Chambers.Chris was someone who I feel I could level with.River Phoenix seemed down to earth in that movie.I have not seen his other movies,but,he is still on my Top 10 list of favorite actors.Yes,I understand that he died six years ago.But,even though he's dead,he's still a heck of an actor.I also thought that the older boys in the movie were funny.They were a**holes, but,they did make me laugh.Especially when they were playing mailbox baseball.This movie is great.I would give it 10 stars,but five is the maximum on this site.I welcome email from anyone who wants to comment on this movie.

Summary: The film is great, but read the book!
Review: I remember I first saw this movie when I was about eight years old, and whenever the title popped up in my head I thought of "the dirty movie." It is true that there is a lot of bad language. But that shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying the movie. A couple years down the road, when I watched it again, I totally fell in love with it. It is a story about an adventure of four true friends. As someone said earlier, these boys, like any others their age, want to be *that* cool. But when the four of them are together, sometimes they forget that and break down, letter their weaker side show. Each boy cries once in the movie. But their friends, especially Chris, are understanding and comforting. (Maybe with the exception of Vern, who thinks singing "The Ballad of Paladin" is the proper thing to do while someone is crying) Whether or not you see the movie, I think you should defineately read the novella "The Body," part of the book "Different Seasons." This book also contains two of King's other stories that were made into movies. In "The Body" you get so much more of the feelings - and King also sums up the story better in the book. After seeing the movie you'll wonder "DID Ace ever get back at the four boys for stealing his fame?" and the book will give you your answer.

Review: This is the best movie ever made. The scene with the leeches is SO funny. I watch it over and over. It's based on a novel by Stephen King, but it isn't scary at all.

Review: I absolutley love this movie. It is sooooo cute. If you haven't seen it you need to! The songs in it are the coolest. I made up a dance to 'Stand By Me' By: Ben E. King when I was little. I'm 15 now & still love the songs & movie.
