Rating: Summary: GREAT MOVIE Review: Left Behind II is a lot better than the first movie more action scens and more special effects. And also Kirk Cameron done a execentlent job as Buck Williams. It seemed like in the first movie everyone was trying to get a fell for there chracter. But this time it was first class acting in my book.I would recomend this video to anybody thats a left behind fan like my self.I hope it does good in the box office in december.............
Rating: Summary: Tribulation Force Review: Although I agree with the message of this movie and the purpose for making it, I am undecided about the actual quality of the film. It has its moments and certainly presents the gospel message more strongly than the first installment of the series, but there is something somehow unsatisfying about the final product. It's so difficult to portray God's message in a movie and therin may be the problem. However, I am glad that Christian movies are being made which will hopefully reach the hearts of seekers in an untraditional setting.
Rating: Summary: so coool! Review: This is an excellent DVD! I highly recommend buying it and seeing it on the big screen December 31st! The movie was better than the first. There were scenes in it that surprised me...it's been years since I read the book, but I think there were some extra scenes which made it even more exciting!
Rating: Summary: The continuing story of the last days Review: This film continues the story started in the first Left Behind film. We follow the adventures of Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Bruce and of course the Antichrist Nicolae Carpathia. I like the way the Gospel message is presented so clearly in this film -more so than in the first LB film. There are some stunning special effects as well as tension and one really scary scene. I know this film will be watched mainly by committed Christians but hopefully nonbelievers will watch it too and take its important message to heart.
Rating: Summary: How Sweet It Is! Review: The second installment of the movie series totally rocks like the books. It's great to see the visualization of the series and I love Kirk Cameron as the lead. He's such a superb actor and the story and other actors/actresses provide great depth. The film leaves off where the 1st one ended and I can't wait for the third film in the series.
Rating: Summary: WOW - Terrific and Improved Review: Add this movie to your collection. Christian film are well known for low quality and poor scripts, but this movie stands apart. It's a must see, and can open discussion topics with your teens such as,conquering low esteem, morals, suicide and much more.
Rating: Summary: Met my expectations - unfortunately Review: Let me start by saying that I was sponsor for the theatrical screening of the first Left Behind movie. I paid to bring it to our city, and I don't regret it. I have nothing against Cloud Ten or the Left Behind series. I've read each book, strangely attracted to them... now that I have started them I feel compelled to finish, even though they are not very good literature.I watched Trib Force last night and found myself coming away disappointed, once again. I'm sure Kirk Cameron is a great guy. But he just does NOT cut it in this role. Nicolae is poorly cast. At the end he came across like a whiny baby. His accent is pathetic. (though the special fx where his face morphs is cool!) There were just a handful of memorable moments in this movie. But it is definitely a low-budget flick. I found myself noticing the actors rather than their characters, a very bad sign. The series needs a complete makeover. They ought to keep Brad Johnson in his role and scrap the rest of them, recasting for the next movie. If I wasn't a Christian, the movie would be terribly confusing. Rent it.
Rating: Summary: Sweet!!! Review: I was at church one night when the youth group watched the first Left Behind movie. I thought it was great and so I bought it! I couldn't wait for the second one to come out, and now here it is... I can't wait to watch the movie after I buy it. but nothing makes the LB2 better than watch both of them together... So if you plan on buying LB2 make sure you get LB1 to go with it! It's well worth it.
Rating: Summary: Will Bring More People to Christ Than Billy Graham! Review: Wonderful movie. Deeply touch my heart. The title of my review is the thought that ran through my mind when as I watched the movie. It is at its heart a Christian movie at a time in history when Christians across the globe are being persecuted, jailed, and killed for the simple act of professing their belief in Christ. I highly recommend this movie to everyone willing to open their heart, feel the truth, and/or willing to be touched by God and Christ. I acknowledge that after watching this movie I did open my heart to Christ and allow him into my life and heart. He also removed the hard stone from my heart. If you try to write to me at hotmail, the account is blocked. Try at yahoo instead, if you feel such a need, but I'm not inviting such traffic. Instead, I recommend seeing this movie and letting your heart open to its truth. Definitely worth buying! And sharing with your friends and loved ones. Just don't expect everyone to be as deeply touched. One must be ready first.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Next Step in the Left Behind Series Review: By now fans will realize the film doesn't follow the books exactly. Those of us who have seen books made into films know this is not unusual (for example, see "The Hunt For Red October" and then read the book ... you'll be surprised). But it is a fair adaptation of the material. In general, the dialogue moves along a little better than the first film. There are more special effects and they are well done. For those concerned about Biblical content, especially in relation to the presentation of the Gospel, you need not worry. Though several verses are combined, the material is presented in proper context throughout the film. The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 make their appearance in this film. Also, Tsion ben Judah delivers his startling announcement regarding Messianic Prophecies from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Virtually all original cast members have reprised their roles and the Gospel is clearly presented, but without "hitting someone over the head with a Bible". Nonetheless, there will still be those who criticize the "Bible thumping" aspect of the film. So be it. ... The DVD version of the film includes quite a lot of bonus material, so if possible, make the jump to DVD if you haven't already. The cinematography is worthy of digital processing. However I did not see a wide-screen version available at this time. If you liked the first one, then you'll like this one even better. If you didn't like the first one, try try again.
