Review: All I have to say is for those people that complain about hte movie being 3 hours....get a grip. When the books came out, I rushed and bought each one individually the day they came out.1 hour later, I was done with each serial. The movie is just the same way. It delves into the chracters and brings them to life as King does in every book. Hanks shines as he has in recent past, and the rest of the cast elevates this film to another level. As a King enthusiast I'd still have to rate this one a slight notch below Shawshank, different story with a different twist. But Green Mile definately rocks the house!

Review: this movie was simply astounding. tom hanks seems to know which films to attatch himself to when it comes to blockbusters. he naturally scores himself another winner with this one. even though the film is a bit lengthy, and even manages to drag along at some points, the green mile, in my opinion, was arguably the best film of 1999. it should've won the oscar for best picture.

Review: This show is everything you'd want in a great show! If they had a millionth star this would recieve the award. Yes it is a long show, but it is definitly worth it! If you are an emotoinal person, and you watch this show, I myself would feel bad for you. I am not an emotional person, and I was crying my eyes out! Please if you haven't seen this amazing show, watch it!

Summary: Very long, but very entertaining
Review: This movie is a actually very good movie despite the fact that it drags on for a little bit longer than it should be. If you liked The Shawshank Redemption, this is very closely done. The acting is very good and the plot, while kinda predictable, is entertaining for the 3+ hours that you'll spend watching this movie. Overall, I recommend buying this movie as an excellent addition to your movie library.

Summary: Touched my soul ...
Review: I went this movie (second time) with my step father who is pretty cool , a guy not showing his emotions very much. I was surprised to see him crying couple of times during movie. There were incredible scenes (not about supernatural stuff) about the feelings , fun , joy , sentimental , anger , shock and miracles.. Tom Hanks is definetly the best male actor currently , the supporting cast was incredibely good as well . Micheal Clarke Duncan ( what a performance !) , Bonnie Hunt (always good) , and especially Micheal Jeter and David Morse ! I really loved every bit of it . And the scores rises the effect on the movie. THIS IS REALLY A MUST FOR A HUMAN BEING !

Summary: To Me, This Is the Second Best Movie of All Time!
Review: A while back, in 1997, I believe, I read all six serial installments of The Green Mile by Stephen King and loved it! So, last year when I heard that there was going to be a movie based on The Green Mile, I was very excited. I eagerly anticipated this movie, and I went surfing in the internet to find some pictures, some teasers etc. until this movie came out (unfortunately, I didn't find much :( .) I went to the movie theaters a week after it came out with my grandma whom I told that the movie would be wonderful! My grandma was sceptical but I wasn't, and my friends were saying that the movie would be horrible. I watched this movie with amazement, I couldn't believe it! This was better than I thought it would be! I looked over at my grandma at the end and she was in tears! I really recommend that you see this movie in any way, rent it, buy it, whatever! Go see this movie! P.S. This is the second best movie ever to me, right after Meet Joe Black, but very close!

Review: For Stephen King fans, this movie is a delight - it's realistic enough to make you believe it could almost happen, yet supernatural enough to give it a real edge. The acting was superb - all of the characters played their parts so well you were able to get a really emotional feeling - good or bad - about each one of them. I though it was as good as the book, which I couldn't put down. Enjoy!

Review: Any other year "The Green Mile" would have won the Oscar for Best Picture. It's that good. Tom Hanks, clearly one of America's all-time brilliant actors, shines again. He is surrounded by an outstanding supporting cast, all of whom steal his spotlight. Especially noteworthy is David Morse as Brutus "Brutal" Howell. Morse is a giant in this movie, not just physically. He should have gotten some sort of nomination. Director Frank Darabount has topped his masterpiece: "The Shawshank Redemption." "The Green Mile" will make you laugh, cry and amaze you.
