Summary: Scream 2
Review: Scream 2

The sequal to the critically and publicly appraised horror slasher, this is more of the same, although slightly better in that it has a wider scope than the original. Like the original, this is not really scary, as the obvious mortality of the killer(s) makes it more of a murder mystery than a horror. The Scream films tread a fine line by both satirising and conforming to horror movie cliches at the same time, but Scream 2 gets away with it the majority of the time, although certain stupidities still irritate (why not close the campus?). There is also a slight sense of tastelessness about this: the characters' deaths are remarked upon and reacted to, but no remorse seems to been shown. However, it can be argued that this is part of the ironic style of the film, which along with the solid acting and pacey script, conspire to make this a good, enjoyable film.

7 out of 10.

Summary: Follow-up smash hit!
Review: Scream 2 definitely lives up to the success of the original! Like the original, the sequel has all the pop culture references, the humor, and the scares that made it one of the most popular horror films of all time! Although, the ending could've been a little better. It seemed as though the decision as to who the killers would be was decided by pulling names out of a hat. Other then that, it was awesome!

Summary: Your basic sequel
Review: (3.5 stars) A different psycho rampages through town after Cidney, the survivor of the first movie, ...guess what happens next. Still, it's entertaining and clever, ...with humor.

Summary: Not bad at all
Review: This was a pretty good movie, for a horror movie. Even I liked it, which says a lot because usually I hate horror movies. It is fast-paced, which I like, but a warning: If you haven't seen Scream1, you will be confused. Overall it is a great movie though, and if you liked Scream you will definitely like Scream2. Courteney Cox and Neve Campbell are great in it!

Summary: GOTTA READ THIS!
Review: This movie... is REALLY GOOD! It's, unfortunately, not as good as the original and not even close to as good as the finale, Scream 3 (by the way, y'all gotta see it, it is hilarious). Anyway, this movie is definitely as worthy sequel and I enjoyed watching the very mysterious mystery in this movie unravel. Oh, and it's funny, too.

Summary: as good as the original!
Review: scream 2 was quite possibly the greatest sequel ever written...just as suspenseful and entertaining as the original...the only letdown was the climax...but the events leading up to it were great...a must-see...

Summary: Cool movie...
Review: The same plot... sorta.. Syd goes to college, and there's a whole lot of blood and gore. Just as good, possibly better than "Scream"... Really cool ending, too. Everything about this movie is extremely well done. I can't wait to see "Scream 3"!

Summary: A fairly decent sequel!
Review: 3 1/2 stars. Though not as good as the original this still is a very decent sequel. The story now takes place at Sidney's college where many of her companions are killed by a copycat killer. Who could this be we all ask? Well I suggest you rent or buy this film and enjoy. I must say though the ending kind of dissapointed me but that's not to say that this movie is bad it still has the suspense of not knowing who's the killer. Above Average compared to most sequels.

Summary: Good Movie, Poor DVD Package
Review: We look at the recently released Cruel Intentions and we have about four hours worth of goodies. Deleted scenes, director commentary, music videos - the whole megillah.

We look at Scream 2 and we have color and widescreen. Oh Joy. I know for a fact that there are some deleted scenes running around (a lot of magazines that have promoted both Scream 2 and 3 have pictures of another scene involving Cici and the other sorority sisters).

Anyway, I saw this DVD at a friends house and I can guarentee I won't be buying it until there are some nicer extras on it.

Summary: A superior sequel!
Review: SCREAM WEEK! Here in the week of Scream 3, is my review of the best one yet, Scream 2. Though Scream 3 will probally be even better than 2, from what the previews look like. 2 is a great sequel, which is superior to the first, due to its darker and even more un-predictable aspects. Here, there's a movie-within-a-movie thing going on, where a movie STAB, shows what happened in the first film. There's a character from the first being slaughtered, and it just so turns out, Billy's mother is the killer in this film. But, she's not the only one. A crazed college film student named Mickey, is her partner. Making them the second psycho two-pair, in the Scream films. There's more bloodshed here and plenty of kills and homages. The acting is good again. And I think its more thrilling than the first. Oh! David Warner shows up in a cameo! This movie is just overall more fun than the first. And I hope Scream 3 is even funner! Well, that's that with the second film. I can't wait to see Scream 3!
