Summary: THE BEST OF THE BEST
Review: This is simply the greatest movie ever made. Hands down, there won`t be a better movie in the next ten million years - believe me!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is the best and most meaningful movie I have ever seen.
Review: This movie, simply put, is a masterpiece. There's no limit to the number of times one can watch this movie. Being an Italian-American, currently living in Italy, I was happy to see how finally somebody made a movie that portrayed the Sicilian culture for what it truly is, and not just the "bad-guy"-gangsters people that Hollywood has always wanted to portray Italian-Americans as. The meaning to the Sicilian way of life is so much deeper than what any movie or book perhaps might try to portray; but this movie displays it the best. It's not a "gangster" movie, it's a movie about the family and its importance, about love, about being a powerful man.

Summary: The Best Movie Ever Made!
Review: My opening says it all. This is simply the greatest movie ever. I would recommend it to anyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Hands down my all time favorite movie.
Review: This is THE Great American Movie. It has it all. One beautiful, unforgettable scene after another. Leaves an indelible impression. The wedding sequence, the horse's head, Luca Brassi getting wacked, The Don getting gunned down, Tom Hagen getting kidnapped, Michael's transformation to head of the family, Sonny getting gunned down, Michael in Italy, the murders of the heads of the 5 families. Oh boy, what a film! Unbelievable use of light, great musical score. Awesome cast: Brando, Pacino, Duvall, Caan, Keaton. Citizen Kane may have been the most important film ever made for its technical innovations and future influence on film making, but it's just as simple as this: The Godfather is the greatest movie ever made in America.

Review: Francis Ford Coppola's cinematic masterpiece. Coppola does a superb job of bringing Mario Puzo's bestselling novel to the screen. Although fictitious, the characters are all based on persons in the real life of organized crime. This is a chilling and revealing look at the operations of the "families" of the underworld.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely fantastic! Read the book!
Review: THIS FILM IS A TREMEDOUS RENDITION OF ONE OF THE MOST COMPELLING BOOKS EVER WRITTEN! THE STORY IS SO WELL PORTRAYED THAT AS A STAND ALONE FILM IT IS UNTOUCHABLE, BUT THERE ARE NUANCES AND SUBTLETIES THAT YOU CAN ONLY GET FROM THE BOOK THAT ADD A LOT TO THE IMPACT OF THE FILM! HAVING SAID THAT, A FANTASTIC STORY, BEAUTIFULLY ACTED, A COMPLETE MASTERPIECE!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: often copied but never matched
Review: Though many people have tried to bring back the same magic that the original "Godfather" was, movies such as Heat and Goodfellas, don't live up to it; even though they are good films in there own right.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I wish I could add at least 5 more stars to this movie
Review: Just the geatest move ever made. I have to say that this is the only movie that is AS GOOD as the book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Insane Achievement
