Rating: Summary: This movie was a classic success by Hitchcock. Review: Sabotage was a well written movie full of suspense. The ending is very shocking and relates to Hitchcock's famous movie, Vertigo.
Rating: Summary: GOOD FILM, BAD DVD TRANSFER Review: This is a wonderful old film, one of Hitchcock's most terse. Terrific acting, simple clean plot but POOR DVD transfer; grainy image and very thin audio. Avoid this until someone releases a better print. So far so bad with the HITCHCOCK COLLECTION.
Rating: Summary: One of Hitchcock's best. Review: This movie about a mad bomber, has always been one of my favorite Hitchcocks. Sylvia Sidney is wonderful as usual, although she isn't given much to do. The infamous bus-ride is still nerve-wrecking every time. Also look out for a very young Charles Hawtrey of "Carry On" fame. It's by no means the best Hitch, but close. Nevertheless, It works very well as a double-bill with "The 39 Steps".
