Review: I have seen the original release video. I think it was in the seventies. I give it five stars. I think it is Hitchcocks best movie because it works on a psychological level instead of a phisiological level. I would recomend watching this movie on any format.

Review: This is a Hitchcock masterpiece! It is a spiderweb of a plot, so you have to watch closely. This is one of my all time favorites, and I have seen a bunch of movies.

Review: This is truly an incredible movie. I have seen it over 20 times through the years and there is always something new to find in it. James Stewart and Kim Novak are excellent. This is Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece, which is not an easy thing to say.

Review: This is one of Hitchcock's later films when he had developed into a master of suspence. This, like all of his films from this period, is superb. Watch it, put it away for a few months, watch it again. You'll love it as much as the first time. This is an example of why they call Hitchcock the master of suspence. For mystery fans everywhere.

Review: here is the plot: a man hires James Stewart to follow his wife. his wife has been acting strange. she stares at graves, pictures, and falls into san fransico bay.they think she is possesed by an evil spirit. james and her fall in love, but the she runs up the stairs of a old bell tower. james chases her, but cannot run fast because he was vertigo. She jumps off the tower and dies. then, james sees someone who looks exactly like her. could it be her?

Review: It's astonishing that so many people, to this very day, disparage Vertigo. This is far and away Hitchcock's best movie, and in my opinion ranks second only to Citizen Kane as the greatest film ever made. It is utterly spellbinding and engrossing. Watch it, AND PAY ATTENTION!

Review: Wow. Alfred Hitchcock has always been a master, and keeps his status as so in 'Vertigo'. The cast is played expertly through the complex suspense and mystery story. The credits are a wonder for 1958. The restored, remastered Widescreen edition is even better. Great film.

Review: I think its terrific in noting all the different responses to this unique film. Viewers have noted that their questions about certain scenes are still unresolved. All one has to notice is the films score and subsequent montage when Scottie sees the neckless on Novak. The ultimate kaliedescope !

Review: Hitchcock has always known how to protray San Francisco at its best. An excellent setting for the confused dilema Jimmy Stewart finds himself in. Nothing like taking a jump into San Fran bay or spinning with vertigo in the bell tower of an old Spanish mission.

Summary: I've seen it at last!!
Review: I've been wanting to watch Vertigo for the last six or seven years, but whenever I went to the video store, I would forget to look for it. Last weekend, a friend of mine came over and we were watching videos when one from the band Faith No More came on. The song was called Last Cup of Sorrow, and the video was very weird. Then my friend told me that the whole video was based on the movie Vertigo. From the rooftop chase scene in the beginning to the psychadelic nightmare that Scottie has later on in the movie, it was all there. The band recreated this movie within four minutes and set it to music. I immediately left to go to the video store. I found a previously viewed widescreen copy for nine dollars, went home, and have watched it every single day since then. I'm sorry I didn't get into this sooner.
