Summary: This Film Delivers!
Review: Redford and Dunaway are a classic duo in this older film, which has a surprise at every turn. I have seen it many times and have recommended to others, who have loved it, too!The pace is fast enough to keep you interested, yet slow enough to delve a bit into the characters' personalities. Redford's double takes are priceless. You'll find yourself wanting to see this more than once, because you will certainly not catch everything the first time around. The elevator scene is my favorite. I'd dub this one a sleeper and a keeper. If you like a non glitzy and suspensful story with some twists and turns, this one will not disappoint.

Summary: 25 year old classic thriller
Review: Nearly 25 years old this wonderful thriller starring Robert Redford as the young and very confused centrepiece in a deadly conspiracy is a real gem. This film is all plot and no 90's style bangs & crashes but all the better for it. If you like good plot and characterisations then this film won't dissappoint. Just one word of warning, this film is 25 years old so make appropriate allowances and you'll not regret the viewing time!

Summary: CIA Action in the Big Apple
Review: New York cityscapes and various engaging characters in this tale of CIA analyst on the run from unknown hit team that has targeted his work group. Action, plot and, of course, many famous actors. Great acting by all and the tale does not pander to a quick happy ending-it plays to CIA intrigue themes all the way, to great effect. Grey Atmospere heightens the somber mood-you cannot help but be drawn in.

Summary: Absorbing political spy thriller.
Review: This is a very absorbing movie with first-rate performances by the entire cast. You'll see Robert Redford at his best in this one. I was also impressed by Fay Dunaway's performance. She was terrific as the vulnerable kidnapped victim. Max non Sydow was his exceptional self, playing a cool, calculating hit man, Cliff Robertson was perfect as CIA director Higgens, and John Houseman's screen presence was never so obvious as in this film. Honestly, there wasn't a bad performance in the entire movie. This intelligent spy thriller will make you sit up and pay attention as you wonder who in the heck the good guys are, and who, if anyone, can you possibly trust? Between 1 and 10, "Three Days of the Condor", one of many wonderful Redford/Pollack vehicles, gets a well-deserved 9. Rent it, or buy it. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Summary: Simply Redford!
Review: In "Three Days of the Condor" we are reminded how the smallest of actions can make the biggest differences in our lives. A trip to pick up lunch saves our hero, Joe Turner, from being massacred like the rest of his co-workers. Then we are taken by this common man through a journey of personal terror and self awareness of what heights we can reach if the situation presents itself. Redford, as always, makes us feel as though perfection is the main ingredient of acting. Dunaway shows us a side of herself that she has never before brought to light. She is scared, vulnerable, intelligent, and forgiving all wrapped up into a woman caught up in circumstances beyond her control. Max Von Sydow is cool and nonchalant in his role as the assasin. He is all business and his loyalty is to the highest bidder. His Jolbert is a man completely comfortable with his profession and finds peace and solitude in it. John Houseman and Cliff Robertson are perfectly cast. From the first frame to the last frame we are treated to a full range of emotions that makes the journey one of the most enjoyable ones that we will ever take. If you like Redford, and how could you not, then take the time to enjoy one of his most memorable performances. You can even have a bag of popcorn while you're at it.

Summary: Intrigue at its best!!!
Review: I had to watch this film a couple of times before I figured out all the "who's", "why's" and "what's." It is a somewhat complex tale of government cover up and truth seeking, full viewer attention is required to piece it all together (no going to the rest room or leaving for a bite to eat while this film is running). A person can probably identify his/her outlook on national politics by identifying whose character he/she most closely identifies with. Is it Robert Redford's character, Cliff Robertson's character or (lord forbid) Max Von Sydow's character? While most movies are not usually as good as the books from which they are taken I believe "Three Days of the Condor" is much better than the book from which the story is taken, "Six Days of The Condor." Also, I enjoy political intrigue stories and openly challenge anyone to identify any such film that is better than this one.

Review: This is one of the greatest spy movies of all time and it happens in New york only. The plot has more twists than a roller coaster, and it keeps you in the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Brilliant performances by Redford, Roberson,Dunnaway, von sidow and houseman. A real expose on how the cia really works. Awesome

Review: and STILL watch it whenever it comes on. A great spy thriller with great performances by Redford, Dunaway, Cliff Robertson and even John Houseman. You'll be on the edge of your seat for three-quarters of the film the first time you see it. Highly recommended if you've never come in contact with "Condor" before.
