Summary: Overall Great Movie
Review: Despite the acting this movie was pretty good.Although It was Omarion Grandberry,Marcus Houston and their crews first time acting it was a forgittable performance.Which was saved by intricate dance moves and people that I expected to see in a movie like this.
Other than that I recommend this movie.

Review: did anyone do a cliche count here?as the hipsters would spew''its off the charts kid/son/nefew''.what a blatant case of audience pandering.ill give it to the producers though,they know their target audience is easily duped into thinking(what an oxymoron)lame raps and dull r&b put to on a very big tv screen makes for a great movie.fights where no one gets hurt or actually fights makes for a dull fight(if im not mistaken''HONEY''was more violent).be that as it may,the weapon of choice here are flashy dance moves.sliding on ones head,turning into rubber boy,doing the robot,etc,etc is such a sweet way to settle grugdes.if this movie is so popular,given the softness of its fighting,then how can rap be so popular?the public demands its rappers be as tough as their bogus image says they are yet seeing''tough guys/THUGS''settle a fistic score to the chart topper of the day is contradictory.that observation might have gone over the audiences head unknowingly.i remember back in the day when i was the age of TRLers,movies didnt have to dumb themselves down to the level of a sponge.i almost feel sorry for todays youth.on that note,here are some sure shot hits the lemmings that found YGS''the,i mean,duh,oooppps,da shiznit'' will no doubt love-Soul Plane,White Girl,13 going on 30,Breakin' All The Rules(i love how they spell 'breaking' wrong but 'the' right!)just to name a few other ocsar winners.how do producers feel when said movies are gone after 2 weekends?note to amazon,WE NEED ZERO/MINUS STAR OPTIONS,QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: First Of all I saw the movie in theaters about 6 times...I brought the DVD the day it came out because I loved it sooooo much. Omari, Dreux, Demario, And Jarell...Also Marques showed a great full of talent throughout the movie......PLzzzz go out and get it its hottt U wont regret it I promise.,..Also Pick up the soundtrack....Its Fire tooo

Review: I bought You Got Served for our son and he absolutly loves it, I dont watch this kind of dvd movie but decided to watch this one and found it myself very good.
My son has watched it over 50 times so far and has recommended it to his friends, who at the moment are envious of him as they dont have it.
I would definitly rate it as a #1 hit with all break dancers and for kids who are wanting to learn more about it
Some very hard lessons were learnt by all who took part in the making of this fine dvd

Review: I haven't seen this movie but you can tell it sucks from the commercials. I mean c'mon, settling your differences w/ a dance off? Whatever happened to the days when kids met behind the school and beat each other with their fists to solve a problem? Todays youth dissapoint me. Actually the only time a dance off would be cool, is when we can get George Bush to battle Saddam. I wanna see G Dub do headspins.

Summary: If You Like Dancing...
Review: I rented this movie to watch while I was working on something else. I didn't want to give the movie 100% of my time. And I'm glad I didn't. The plot is weak and very, very predictable. However, if you like dancing, then you will get plenty of it in this movie. That would be my ONLY reason for recommending this movie.

Review: The movie You Got Served was a excellent movie in my opinion. All of the people did wonderfuly. The dancing was great Omarion Grandberry was great. And so was Marques Houston, Jarell Houston, De Mario Thorton, and Drue X. I rate this movie a high 5. Becuase that is what it deserves. Omarion 4 Life.

Summary: You're Just Mad, Cause Today......You Got Served
Review: This film wasn't the best out there, and i'll admit that. It is definately not one that will win an oscar for anything, but in spite of the bad parts of the film, it wasn't all as bad as most make it out to be. The acting could have been better, and i'll admit that, but one thing that some people should realize is that, you cannot cast dancers to act. This is a dance movie, it's not a major theatrical drama that goes about a love story that is based around the world of hip hop.I thought that the acting was bearable. You can actually sit through it without wanting to shoot yourself in the head, but of course the thing that drew my attention to this film was the dancing. I never saw "Honey" (Jessica Alba) but I've heard that this film was a thousand times better. As a dancer this film was great in the sense of the dancing, it was good to see a film that was about hip hop and no ballet (Center Stage, Save the Last Dance) it was a good way to get pumped if you are a hip hop dancer. The problem with this film is simple, it wasn't the director, it wasn't the acting (well maybe a little bit), it wasn't the dancing, the problem with this film is that because it was released, hip hop is going to be a fad where all the young people of today will start a dance crew and try to mimic the movie's dance battles...this will last all but 3 months before everyone gives up. never the less, it was still a good film and i do give it 4 stars. if you are looking for a good dance film, this is a must see movie. if you are looking for a typical drama, don't see this and don't bash it if you cannot appreciate the hard work and rehearsal time it takes to get these dance sequences down perfect.
