Summary: Temptations Forever
Review: Since the movie came out in 1998 on the network television, I was right there to watch the 2 part mini-series. But due to the fact that one of the nights it aired Monday Night Football was on and I was switching channels back and forth. I did get to see most of this movie and hoped it would come out on video, well what do you know? I just bought a copy last week 10/15/99 and I have watched 6 to 8 times already, it just excites me to hear those sweet tunes. This is a movie to see and make you feel you were there with Otis, Melvin, Eddie, Paul Williams, and even David Ruffin. Otis Williams, I wish I could meet him someday. To go through all the good and bad and to hang in there was the greatest part. His heart and determination never made him quit, even if he thought about quitting he never did. I can't wait to read the book, but the movie is great due to the songs that are on the movie. I just love those oldies: "My Girl", "Ain't Too Proud", "Just My Imagination" plus the others. I'll probably see it again tonight and the next until I get all the albums. I love you guys and hope the Lord continues to Bless The Temptations. Temptations Forever.....

Summary: EXCELLENT!
Review: Being a major "TEMPS" fan since their earliest days, this movie was a must-see for me. It could not have been better. And the actors so closely resembled the real singers, you tend to forget it's a movie. You 'live' right along with them. Christian Payton and Leon 'become' Paul and David. I gave several copies as gifts and recomend it to all!

Summary: this is the best movie in the world
Review: You have to see this movie! I have watched it over 50 times. I know every sentence of every scene. Leon is such a hottie. This is the best movie. It makes you laugh, and it makes you cry. The best part is the music. I absolutely love the songs. I just want to get up and dance and sing everytime I hear them. Go out and see this movie. You won't regret it. It is a shame that the movie hasn't gotten reconized as much as it should have. Leon should have won his image award. Plus it should have won the grammy for best mini-series.

Review: This is a dynamite movie. Every actor playing one of the Temps should get an oscar for his performance. I have watched the movie at least five times. My son is 10 years old and he loves this movie. Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this movie. JOB WELL DONE!!!!

Summary: It was interesting to see the Motown family involved.
Review: Not only was it interesting to see Smokey Robinson act and see Suzanne De Passe produce, but it was a surprise to see Rhonda Ross (Diana's daughter) take part as Paul's wife.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great for me and my family. Sent me back to the past
Review: I was so glad to see that someone cared enough to produce a movie of there lives. It showed that getting to the top is not easy. I'm sure that more motown favorites will have their life history told to the world also. Good movie great actors, great songs, and great dancing.

Summary: Brilliantly acted, artfully directed, amazingly scripted
Review: Beautiful

Summary: Powerful
Review: This was an excellent movie. All the actors were fantastic. The scene that makes me cry all the time is at "Melvin Franklin's" funeral where Smokey Robinson sings and they show flashbacks of "Melvin". Another powerful (and happy) scene is where they all crowd in front of the TV to see themselves sing "My Girl" and then the black and white fades into color. EXCELLENT movie and great job to all those involved.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Powerful, sentimental and made me want to go back in time
Review: I cannot get enough of this movie! All the actors chosen for these roles could not have been better picked. Christian Payton is dynamite and has quite a sex appeal on screen. It's unbelievable how this movie drew me to that period of time that I remember so well but yet did not know the behind-the-scenes traumatic lives these young men were going through. Thank you for sharing your life, Otis, and the lives of the best musical group that ever was. May your continued success as the Temptations prove what a strong bond you have to music and to your professionalism.
