Summary: gotta love thos esisters
Review: I love this series of stage shows and this is the best yet. I have seen it 4 times so far.
The 12 days prior to Christmas..........well, I can hardly wait for the next one. nuns on a cruise? as the entertainment? oye!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Nun Lovers Unite!!!
Review: I must admit, I have a weird obsession with nuns. Indeed I do. It started a year and a half ago, in the 7th grade. When my best friend gave me this for Christmas, I was thrilled. The musical numbers are creative, the sketches are hilarious, and the jokes are, well, good. As a Golden Girls fan (that's another thing, I really like elderly women) I was pleased with Rue's performance as Sister Mary Regina. I die when I hear "We Three Kings of Orient Are Us", come very close to wetting myself when Father Virgil dresses up like Sister Julia (Child of God), and almost popped a blood vessel when I saw John Ritter narate Mount St. Helen's production the The Nutcracker. Even St. Amnesia was pleasing, especially by giving to those in need.
PS- I <3 Sister Mary Annette

Summary: Love 'em!
Review: This is the first "Nunsense" show I've ever seen and it is freakin' hilarious and also very moving. Apart from being great comedians, these nuns and Father Virgil have great voices. Wish I could say the same for Rue McLachanan. Favorite moments:

1. Intro

2. "A time when Robert Anne sneaks out to Clancy's for a beer"

3. Ball-breaker

4. Secret Santa

5. "We'll fix it in the edit."

6. Santa Ain't Comin' to Our House

7. Sister Julia, Child of God

8. The Nutcracker (Take Two)

9. Jesus Was Born in Brooklyn (very moving)

10. In The Convent

11. We Three Kings of Orient Are Us (with references to Tom Cruise and Harrod's and a salad shooter)

12. Catholic Home Shopping Service

13. It's Better to Give Than it Is To Receive

These are the specifics but I haven't been too specific about them because I don't want to ruin it for y'all. So what are you all waiting for? Get this DVD but get it around Christmas because it'll look weird if you do it at this time of year. Also, there is a special video insert cameo by John Ritter. It's very moving and very sad because Mr. Ritter is no longer with us. Buy Nuncrackers!
