Review: I wrote a review of this show a couple months ago. My piece was polite and courteous, far more courteous than some reviews I've seen here, and simply consisted of a couple comments. Yet Amazon refuses to post it, although they've kept on the board a review that I referred to. Why????Amazon gets zero stars. Reviewers beware!

Summary: Spectacular!
Review: Michael Flatley really outdid himself this time. This video is just incredilbe. The dancing and music are superb. It's so much better than the Lord of the Dance video. There are new dance numbers in it, including a beautiful solo by Bernadette Flynn called 'Dance of Love.' A must-see for anyone who is a Michael Flatley fan!

Review: Folks, if you've seen the "Lord of the dance" never buy this one. It is the same show only on a different stage. Michael Flatley and the others are like big, fat pigs. They hardly move, with heavy breathing etc. I have all Flatley's and Riverdance's records and considered myself a big fan of them, but now - Thanks! Riverdance is great, Flatley sucks! Do not buy it!

Summary: All I Can Say Is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This new production of Lord of the Dance almost made me cry! I am probably thee most obsessed fan, and I can literally say I probably have seen it more than 100 times in a 5 month period and I still continue to watch it 2 to 3 times a day! This is an extraordinary production in that, with all the new songs and added dances, made Lord of the Dance look small and puny. The main thing that made it so magnificant is the number of dancers he was able to choreograph. I would like to applaud all the dancers, and especially all the pricipal dancers and people. I especially like Bernadette Flynn's new solo, and Gillian Norris' new choreographed dance to "Gypsy", and Daire Nolan's new costume. And what can I about the breath-taking finale. To see over 100 dancers dance on one stage at one time and to be all in synch. I hope that Michael Flatley will make more shows and that he will reconsider not boxing, and think about how much more great he can become.

Summary: You can't watch this one just once!
Review: First and foremost, I think this is a great video. As said in most of the other positive reviews, the dancers are obviously more confident and show more facial expression (i.e. they are actually smiling in this video). The dancing itself is, as always, mesmerizing. But I had to take away a star for the following reasons. First of all, I think Michael has obviously proven he doesn't need Viagra. If someone can point out a girl he didn't grope, flirt with, kiss, or perform some type of pubescent dance with please contact me. This wouldn't bother me so much if Michael were younger than 30, but since he's now 40 I think he should knock it off. That part where he grabs Gillian Norris's behind just makes me cringe, as does that last passionate kiss with Bernadette Flynn. I think that lasted just a little too long for most peoples taste. I would like to applaud Helen Egan and Daire Nolan who I think have perfected their roles. Also, the songs Anne Buckley sings are extremely beautiful in this one. In the original I had to fast foward through her parts because the songs were kind of dull. All in all, this is a worthwhile video to buy, even with Michael's hormones running rampant. I've watched it so many times I practically have memorized the thing. Believe me, it's addictive.

Summary: It's not traditional irish dancing, but it's still great!
Review: Feet of Flames was an excellent video in my opinion. Though this certainly is not 'traditional' irish dance, it is definitely worth a look. The costumes in this video are simply to die for, especially in the 'Breakout' (stripping) scene. There are more closeups of the dancers, especially Gillian Norris and Bernadette Flynn, the two beautiful female principal dancers, there's also several completely new pieces, ,more of Anne Buckley's haunting, yet beautiful vocals, and quite a bit of refined coreography from LOTD. In my opinion this is definitley an Irish Dance video (of sorts) to buy

Summary: Eligently brilliant
Review: To keep it short and simple this is an extremely entertaining video packed not only with group dance but with solo dance, beautiful song, and lively instrumental music. The stunning performers in lighter sequences are as graceful if not more than ballet dancers. Yet, the faster sequences are are full of foot stomping, heart thumping, breath taking performances. One to purchase and have on hand.

Review: After watching the original Lord of the Dance, and having the pleasure of seeing Flatley and the original company live in New York, as soon as I heard about this video, I had to get it..and the new costumes and numbers do not disappoint! If you loved the original, this is a can't miss.

Summary: The most exciting dance video I have ever seen.
Review: Feet of Flames is the most exciting dance video I have ever seen, and Michael Flatley is one of the most talented dancers and showmen of our generation. As an ex-ballet dancer (and tap dance trained) I am in awe of what classical Irish dancers can do . . . this is definately not 'tapping'. The arm movements and drama that Michael Flatley has brought to Irish step dancing is a wonderful addition to an already thrilling type of dancing. His entire company is great, particularly the beautiful singer and the great 'fiddlers'. His feet are to be compared to Antonio and his great style and flare to Barishnyikov (sp) To think that he also produced the show, leaves one breathless. I can however see why he would run into some difficulties with the Riverdance Company . . . "You want fireworks?" Yes, Michael Flatley has definately brought an American flame to Irish dance. There is only one down side; how could this show ever be repeated? Possibly never.

Review: Flatley looks tired and well past his prime in this version of LOTD. All the intrusive editing cannot hide the fact that he never once looks like the best dancer on the stage. His steps are sloppy, mushy, and flat-footed...when he's even dancing at all. Mostly he just hams it up in front while a stagefull of talented young dancers do what he just can't seem to manage anymore. He does play the flute in a couple of numbers, and he's not bad at all...but did you really buy this video to see him play the flute? The "Feet of Flames" solo near the end is just not worth the wait. It's just a few flurries of tapping in between "aw shucks" nods at the audience, and in it he does moves that were done far better by Maria Pages and Colin Dunne in the second Riverdance video. Flatley was great in the first LOTD, but I think you'll be disappointed with this.
