Rating: Summary: Less than expected Review: I was expecting much more from Stomp. I like them a lot, but this DVD is not a good favour for them.

Rating: Summary: Super set + good camera work = awesome production! Review: I'll assume people know of STOMP from reading about them or seeing them somewhere prior... This video stars many members of STOMP, but seems to feature the cream of the crop for most of the pieces. There are brooms, poles, garbage cans, scaffolds with swaying members hitting assorted junk; but there are a few pieces here that can't be performed on a stage. For the most part, we are watching a short set on stage, but there are cuts and segues to little "skits" or pieces that happen elsewhere, only to return to the stage afterwards. It keeps things fresh, lively. One set involves 6 people, 6 basketballs, and an alley. Lots of interesting patterns come from here. One weirder set involves STOMPers in the kitchen, chopping and cleaning and cooking - more on the visual side, but it gives STOMP another side to enjoy. Two water-themed sets come first with the members in the water hitting pipes, then a cut to the stage again where members play barrels while being rained upon. The rhythms and energy are enough to make this video good enough just to have playing in the background, and definitely a must-buy to watch. But when you mix in unique pieces that you'll never see on stage, camera angles and close-ups that you can't get at a live show, and a few brief interviews of members, this will get you to do some STOMPing yourself!
Rating: Summary: It'll make you nod your head to the beat. Review: If you know percussion like me, you realize the talent and difficulty that these preformers must go through. The Stomp video is packed with a new beat every few seconds. Its great to groove with, I have even taught some of the beats and grooves to my students.
Rating: Summary: Inesquecível... Review: Imperdível! Se você não viu, não perca tempo! Assisto toda a semana este video e não enjôo. É simplesmente maravilhoso!
Rating: Summary: Stomp Out Loud makes me want to scream out loud! Review: Incredible. If you have never seen Stomp live, then do it! If that is impossible, then watch this video. These masters of rhythm are awesome. Whether they have a basketball, a broom, or a butcher knife in their hands, they create drama, energy and excitement through rhythm! There are segments in this video that could not be performed live. That is a bonus! Also, the short documentary about "Stomp" is incredible! My children love this as well. Great for the whole family!
Rating: Summary: I it was a wonderful presentation Review: It looks easy what they are doing but if most people tried it, it would be so complicated
Rating: Summary: doesnt beat the show, but of course, fantastic Review: of course nothing compares to actually being in the theatre watching the actual show, but that only lasts for a little over an hour. when you want to see the amazing talent of these musicians, this dvd shows it.

Rating: Summary: Stomp Out Loud Inspires Family Music Making Review: School was closed for a snow day and we had already played outside for more than an hour. We came in for hot cocoa and our first viewing of Stomp Out Loud. My sons, ages 6 and 4, were enthralled...I was too. The older brother was inspired to rig his brother's bunkbeds with various objects and call for us to join him in some rhythm making. Not only am I sure our family will view this tape over and over again...I know we'll be having all sorts of fun times experimenting with rhythm together. I highly recommend this for adults and kids. Teachers and camp counselors will find inspiration for designing activities that allow children to experiment with music for the fun of it and/or the science of sound.
Rating: Summary: de best Review: stomp brings the percussion to a whole new level. it isn't drums making the beats it is garbage cans, sweepers, basketballs, cards, and etc. it will definetly keep your feet taping as they unveil their tricks in keeping the beat
