Rating: Summary: "Awesome" - Three "Mo" Tenors Review: Last night I saw Three "Mo" Tenors on PBS and was supremely entertained. First of all, I had seen a review about them and hoped I would see them. I got the chance last night and never left the TV. They are awesome, and extremely talented. They each had a solo and each one was as great as the other. I have purchased their CD and can't wait to see them when they come to Boston next year, I already bought my tickets. Go and see them, order the video and get the CD, you will not be disappointed. By the way the audience had a ball with them and so will you. I did.

The superlative Intro of La Dona de Mobile by the 3 tenors followed by beautiful spiritual by sleepy eyed virtuouso Victor T cook-sequenced by the secular pieces that followed was indeed mind blowing. Then Tenor Dixon with manual & vocal dexterity, brought me to tears with his rendition of "A Song for You",followed by exilirating laughter as tenor Thomas Young explained how as a baby he "Slept Tight"(sic)......but Man!IT was Today I sing the Blues, that lifted me off of my hinges..Wow!' Ah! Mes Amis (Dixon) & Nessun Dorma(Young)lifted me to the stratosphere, as the sublimity of their rich tenor voices, challenged even Pavoratti. These 3 are a gift-I was enjoying watching the mixed audience-delighting in the talents of 3Mo tenors...yes indeed...well I gotta catch a midnight train to wherever they sing on the West Coast. Rating: Summary: BRAVO ! " A MUST HAVE" Review: After seeing "THREE MO TENORS" in concert on the P.B.S. channel I decided to buy the DVD version. I was completely satisfied. The vocal ranges and versatility of the tenors was a joy to behold. There were solo renditions, then came classical, blues, pop and spiritual renditions which were breathtaking the musicians and their conductor were at their finest. Kudos must also be given to the accoustic system, and excellent videography that enhanced the magic of the concert. Each one of those tenors is a major star in his own galaxy whose star is shining brilliantly. If you appreciate music buy this dvd you won"t regret it. We will hear much more good things from Thomas Young, Roderick Dixon and Trent Cook.
Rating: Summary: Buy this Video It's fantastic Review: I saw Three "Mo" Tenors on PBS and couldn't believe my ears. IT was a fantastic show. The video is fabulous. I plan to buy several copies (of the CD) for friends and family. It's moving, exciting, and foot stomping fun; with beautifully performed classical pieces as well. The men are in full voice and are an incredible treat. Treat yourself to the video or CD you wont regret it.

Rating: Summary: Brilliant Review: An absolutely enjoyable concert! Everything from Opera to blues. And all of it done brilliantly!! You will be applauding through the performances! Each one of these brilliant artists is amazing. They will make you laugh, cry, and sing along. You will stand up and shout! It will leave you wanting more. I want to buy another one in case mine wears out!
Rating: Summary: Two DVDs in one! Review: One for me and one for my children. A fan of opera, my sons heard CD's from day one. When they could communicate preference and showed a fascination for opera, I searched for age appropriate material. Thinking The Three Tenors video might be a good choice, I searched Amazon - came across Three Mo' Tenors. They LOVE it - and so do I! These extremely talented men go from A to Z with their voices - opera to jazz to blues to gospel (a big bonus - the spiritual message wished for my sons is included as well!) So - if you're 2 1/2 or "old enough to not mention your age" you will enjoy this talented trio.
Rating: Summary: Good, But The First Video Was Better Review: I can't say anything bad about Three Mo Tenors. It is scintillating from beginning to end. But I had the first video and somehow it has disappered from my collection. I would much prefer to have it. If anyone has a copy I'll buy it from you. It was different! It had some beautiful pieces on it that aren't on the new release. It is one of the most outstanding musical experiences you will ever have but I'm partial to the first version. Everyone who has watched it at my house has broken into applause while watching. It is a special treat and we show it to everyone. Get one for yourself and one for a friend. Claire Mack
