Summary: She's just incredible!
Review: Ms Brightman is without a doubt the woman with the greatest voice in the world. This DVD is very good, I do like the Eden concert better, but the show is still very good. Sarah is a princess on stage and I can't wait to see more music from her. It helps that she is beautiful, too!

Summary: Angelic voice; strange presentation
Review: There is no doubt that Sarah Brightman has one of the most beautiful operatic voices in music today. She is a phenomenal vocalist and a beautiful person. However, I must say that her performance technique is a little...strange. Her costumes leave much to be desired. Her stage choreography is especially bizarre. It seems to me that she wants to put forward a Madonna-type persona to appeal to the mass public. It's a pity that her gorgeous voice alone can't do the trick.

Summary: Entertaining and touching
Review: I was dissappointed with Sarah's last eden video concert because it looked like she just was lip singing. But this La Luna DVD was so wonderful to watch. Sarah doesn't just sing. She also acts, performs, dances and if you can believe it even flies around the stage. She does lip sing some of the La Luna concert songs but she also does some versions live. Watching the concert on my birthday was touching and every song Sarah sung was excellent. The props were spectacular. This isn't just some music concert, this is something you would see in Las Vegas. Also Sarah's outfits are very very interesting. She seems to have lost alot of weight since I last saw her on the Andrew Loydd Webber video where she sings with Michael Ball. This La Luna DVD is one of the most entertaining DVD I own now! Fireworks included! I highly recommend this DVD!

Summary: Is it a Question of Honor?
Review: I went to this concert in Virginia... and I liked both... I don't know what to tell you. Cuz this movie was not what I had been hoping it to be. I liked the song "It's a Question of Honor" But ohhh well. I think Sarah Brightman has the best voice... and dose the best duet..with Andrea Bochelli.

Summary: Sarah is a Fantastic Vocalist
Review: I'd like to preface the 4-star rating by first issuing my overall opinion of Sarah as being one of the top vocalists on the planet. Furthermore, my opinion of this DVD is rooted in the fact that initially, I would only consider myself a marginal fan of Sarah (not because of her vocals, but rather that her musical style, in general, is a bit outside of my normal listening preferences). I debated whether or not to go with this relatively pricey DVD, or just with the CD. Reading the stellar reviews prompted the DVD purchase. Sonically, this DVD came through. The 5-channel, although not superlative, clearly exceeds the dynamics of a standard CD. In this respect, the DVD lives up to its primary expected benefit: an enhanced musical experience. The disappointment entered on several different fronts. I found Sarah's performance style moderately irritating. The wispy moves of her hands, the condescending expression in her face, and the over-produced "magical" scenary only detracted from her music. I actually shut off the video while the DVD played to improve the listening experience. Her stage presence was somewhat distracting. As if all of the distractions weren't bad enough, Sarah chose to include new, unfulfilling interpretations to some of her best known songs. Yes, this is a live album, but I guess I was expecting something closer to studio versions. Here's a case of "If it ain't broke....why fix it?" The final insult struck when the numbered playlist on the case did not match the songs being played - they were all off by one. Ultimately, I wish I had purchased the CD. The off-the-rack versions would have suited me just fine, and spared me the painful theatrics caught on video. If you are a major fan who enjoys her airy stage presence, you will probably not be disappointed. If you're a passerby, treat yourself to her La Luna CD, save yourself some money, and enjoy her outstanding offerings.

Summary: Exquisite!
Review: This is truly an incredible DVD! I couldn't believe that the total viewing time is 3 hours -- that is amazing in itself! In addition to Sarah Brightman's spectacular 'La Luna' concert performance, you will also be delighted will the backstage tours and personal interviews. This DVD is exceptional in its quality AND content. If you are a true Sarah Brightman fan, you will definitely want this DVD as part of your collection!

Summary: Forget the VHS....the DVD is the REAL thing!
Review: I saw this concert on PBS in early December 2000 thinking I'd get the whole concert.....rather, there were only like 14 songs, including A Question of Honour, just as there was on the VHS release of this concert. I heard this DVD version got the whole thing, including behind-the-scenes features and the music video for A Whiter Shade of Pale (you can also see that video on many sites that have music videos, such as Vidnet), so if anyone has the VHS version, you might want to consider selling or trading it and just get the DVD instead.

Summary: Oh yeah!
Review: If you are reading this you obviously know and like Sarah Brightman so if you don't own this video you are missing out. If you are a Fan at all you won't be disappointed. The show is incredible, CD quality sound and mixing, Picture quality is really good too, maybe a little foggy but I think that is part of how it looked at the show. DVD version features about 1 1/2 hours of Extra Brightman info and biography. I also recommend the Eden video as well. There are a few songs that are in both but the two videos are totally different so that isn't a problem.

I first heard of Sarah Brightman after watching Phantom of the Opera Live. I liked the songs at the show so I went home and got on Napster to find some samples of the songs and that is when I came along Sarah's recordings. I downloaded a few songs from various albums and was hooked. I purchased my first CD which was the Eden CD. I now have 6 Brightman CDs and both DVDs

Summary: my best experience with a dvd!
Review: "La Luna" is simply amazing. I have never experienced a show like that on a dvd before! Sarah Brightman has an unique talent, and makes you feel peace. This concert has 26 songs, including the wonderful "a whiter shade of pale", "who wants to live forever" and many other great songs. The special area is very complete, showing all the process of making "La Luna". It shows sarah's daily life, the photoshoot for La Luna booklet, the after-show party, the recording of the CD. This is surely one of the best DVDs ever made!
