Review: The newsies is a five star movie, hands down. If you like musicals, this is the movie for you. Full of humor and great songs, as well as mesmorizing choreography, the Newsies is one of Disney's best. The DVD version is outstanding with great picture and sound it makes the movie ten times better. This is a must see movie for all ages.

Summary: An Entertaining Collection of Drama, Music, & Suspence
Review: I watched this Disney classic, The Newsies, with a room full of teenagers and adults. Not one, male nor female, teenager nor adult, disliked the film. In fact, they raved about it. They loved the music with it's catchy tunes and began singing during the refrains of "Carring the Banner" and "Santa Fe". It brought out the truley innocent child in the older folks and really excited the younger ones. It is a great all around movie and if you've not seen it, you must!

Review: "The Newsies" is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I love the choreography and the music- I have had the songs stuck in my head since seeing it! Jack (Christian Bale) is such a cutie! I watched the newsies three times in three days- I would recommend it to anyone! My older brother and sister even liked it. It's so cool that someone took an historic event and made an enjoyable and entertaining movie from it.

Review: Everybody, This movie is a must see for you and your whole family! It is a timeless Disney classic that has captured the hearts of many. The first time I saw this movie was when I was in fourth grade. I loved it then and I love it now. I am going to be graduating from high school soon and Newsies is still my all time favorite movie! It's full of great songs that are so catchy, soon you too will be singing the songs. Newsies will make you laugh, cry, and it's a genuine good time for all. Your family will treasure this movie for years to come. I know my family loves it. Christian Bale is an extrodinary actor. He stole my heart. Every girl needs a guy like Jack Kelly (Bale's charactor). Like they say in the movie, "open the gates and seize the day!" Meaning now is the perfect time to see this movie!

Summary: the best musical ever
Review: when my mother first rented this movie for me i was in third grade and completely uninterested. a musical? yuck. i didn't know what i was missing. i only wish i had payed more attention. this last weekend( about 7 years later) i rented this movie again. i cant stop watching. it now my favorite movie ever. i own the soundtract and cant stop listening to it. everything about this movie is wonderful. i am now really upset that it is not avaliable for purchase. i cant afford to rent it every weekend. if you ever are lucky enough to came across a copy, grab it. i love this movie and recomend evryone see it.

Summary: Newsies - A Family Obsession
Review: On one of kids days off from school I rented the video (more for me than the kids, frankly) for an uplifting afternoon's entertainment. With a five day rental, the kids (and I) watched it 12 - 15 times before we had to grudgingly return it to the video store. Was lucky enough that week to find the newly re-released soundtrack. Since then it is all we listen to - in the car, around the house, while doing dishes, etc. We have it all memorized and each take a choral part. The kids even reproduce some of the choreography (Seize the Day Chorale is the favorite). The music is masterfully written, the story is fun and uplifting, the acting is excellent - and according to my kids, Christian Bale is "the cutest!" It's a must see and a must own as soon as Disney gets it in gear to release it on DVD!

Summary: THE BEST MOVIE TO ME
Review: I have to say noone loves this movie more then me. i have been a fan since 1992 but the sad thing is they don't make it anymore. this movie is wonderful. the music is great, and you will be singing along. the actors are so real...when they hurt, you hurt. it's a family firm that everyone will love. i just hope oneday they will bring it back so i can buy it. i hope you like it...even though i know you will. this is my favorite movie and i hope it brings the joy that it brings to me.

Summary: Newsies Rule!
Review: Alright, that was a bit childish but... the fact is the movie is wonderful. I watched in Journalism class my freshman year, and loved it. It was alomost the only thing I truely enjoyed in that class. The film stars teenage news boys going strike when the cost of newspapers is raised from 50 to 60 cents. The dancing, the music, and the personal stories make this movies worth watching and owning, even if the plot isnt so good. Jack is the leader and my fav character. And if nuttin' else ain't them NY akcents great!
