Summary: It's a cool documentary
Review: This is a great documentary I have a band and we all watched it and after we watched it we started jamming. It shows you what MetallicA did when creating MetallicA or(The Black Album). After vewing this you'll start your own band . It also show's you all you have to go through when recording an album. If you have a band and don't know where to start get this video.

Summary: Metallica at their best
Review: This is definitely vintage Metallica. All the stereotypical events of a major modern rock group. Before you are done watching, you'll want to call up all your friends, buy some instruments, and hit the road. If only it were that easy

Summary: OH YEAH, MAN!!!!!
Review: This is the "black album" in it's rawest form. Disected and spread out on the table before you. An absolute "TEN" on the scales of rock documentaries.(or any documentaries for that matter!) Doesn't contain one boring second. An absolute must have for any music enthusiast.

Summary: Without doubt a great DVD
Review: This is truely a good DVD. It may well be the most interesting and by far the longest documentary of any band in history. This DVD contains well over 4 hours of metallica stuff including live performances, studio rehersing and music videos. The sound and video are quite good considering that this DVD is remastered from a previous video release. The DVD is presented with really cool menus and easy to follow links between the 4 hours of footage. The picture is very sharp and the sound is presented in Dolby Digital Stereo which was very crisp and clear. A 5.1 Digital remix would have been better but to remix 4 hours is quite rediculous. This DVD is the best thing that could happen for any metallica fan! Anyone would love this DVD and it would be a great addition to anyones collection.

Review: This video is is totally bitchin dudes and dudettes. If you're a metalifan you'll love following the guys on the road and gettin an inside look at their personalities off stage. The best part though is watching James make fun of Axl Rose.

Summary: The Best Metallica Video!
Review: This video shows Metallica on the road as well as in the studio. Its humorous as well as informative. It shows James, Lars, Kirk, and Jason messing around and goofing off wherever they may roam ( in the studio, in hotels, in public, etc.).

Summary: The best inside look of Metallica you'll ever get!
Review: This was the most interesting look at Metallica that has ever been done! It follows the entire making of the black album from ideas to recording to making videos to touring! You'll get to know the guys like you never thought, AND it was in their long hair days too. Anyway, this is a must have for any Metallica fan or to show your friends and convert them to the ways of true METAL!

Summary: OH GOD!
Review: What a great DVD! It has over 4 hours of metallica on it! The first part of the DVD is metallica in the studio and the second is their never ending tour. The sound and picture are so good and metallica stuffed in music videos and live performances as well on this DVD. This is as deep as you can get into a bands life. The sound and picture are amazing. It is a must have for anyone that has a DVD player.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome documentary...
Review: When Metallica started to record "The Black Album" they decided to record the whole process, all the way from where they practise the songs to when they do the album cover. It's pretty cool because you get to see Metallica from "the inside", when they're taking showers, swearing, shouting, playing, recording and yelling at the cameramen. A definitive buy for every fan! END
