Review: Grease it ain't! Weak plot and so so acting doesn't help this sequel but many of the songs are kinda catchy and Michelle Pfeiffer ranks 5 stars on her own! So conveyed the folks at HBO back in 1983 when it premiered on cable. Just enjoy!

Review: I'm another one that likes Grease 2 better then Grease. However,I'm sad this DVD was such a barebones disc. Paramount could've at least added the trailer.

Summary: Louis and Sharon 4 ever
Review: I saw this movie as a child when it first came out and I have loved it ever since. The music and the characters are loveable and laughable. The storyline is simplistic but charming. Love at first sight. However before the 2 main characters can get together they have to overcome the obstacles of young love and high school rules along with peer pressure. However the secondary characters are what make this movie move and flourish. On a personal level my 2 favorite characters as well as my favorite couple are Louis and Sharon. They provide the best musical number in the movie. Let's Do It For Our Country, has to be the one of the funniest songs in the movie. As well as the song Reproduction. This one of my favorite movies, and in my opinion much better than the original. The original did not have the amusing songs and making fun of high school like Grease 2 does:) I like the original but not as much as the 2nd. The secondary characters offer a great FOIL of themselves. Sharon the virtious and self-righteous pink lady has to fight Louis off with a stick and on the other side of the spectrum Paulette literally throws herself at Johnny. Also, they make Sharon look like Jackie Kennedy and Paulette look like Marilyn Monroe. Very clever. They even mention it at the begining of the movie.
Thats my 2 cents worth. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes musicals. I am so glad that this movie comes to DVD in a week. Once again Maureen Teefy does a great job.

Summary: 100% Guilty Pleasure!!
Review: I've loved Grease 2 since I first saw it back in 1982. Ok yes it's not the greatest movie in the world and it was never as popular as the original Grease, but I can't help but enjoy watching it every single time. First of all, the songs are much catchier! "Cool Rider" is so awesome and 10 times better than any song you can find on the original Grease soundtrack. The chemistry between Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Phieffer is awesome. Stephanie Zanoni is the COOLEST pink lady ever! It may be immature and sex filled, but the flick is all in good fun and I am so glad it's finally making it to DVD and widescreen. I give it two thumbs up :)

Review: Really when I saw taht it was going to be on a cable channel I was very excited to watch it, I was a little girl when this happened and since then I really like it, I know it's a bad movie but is so bad that I really think it's good.

Review: I have waited for YEARS for this cult classic to be released on DVD, and finally my dreams have been answered !!! I can almost recite this movie and every song word-for-word..... Yes, it isn't an Oscar nominee type movie, but I'd watch this over just about any Academy Award "put me to sleep" winning movie..... GET THIS DVD !!!!!

Summary: I don't mean to be sacrilegious but...
Review: Okay I actually saw Grease2 before I saw the original, and I fell in love with it instantly. And I don't mean to be sacrilegious, but even after having watched part one, I still prefer part 2! The music is better, the choreography and the cinematography and the direction - all WAY better. Sure it has its weaknesses, but at least there's no flying car at the end. And by the way, Maxwell Caulfield was my first crush! The performances are all good, especially Adrian Zmed - whatever happned to him anyway?

Review: Ok, so maybe some people might think that this movie stinks and that one should be imbarressed to admit if you love this film, but I honestly do. At times it's corny, but it's a fun film to watch. I love Michelle Pfeiffer as Stepheney, and Maxwell Claulfied as Michael. Grease 2 should not be compared to the first film, which is a classic. The songs are catchy and Michelle Pfeiffer does a fine performance in her musical moments- who doesn't love the song 'Cool Rider'.

Summary: "Have I lost the real me behind my charade?"
Review: Grease 2 is yet another sequel that completely fails to live up to its predecessor. Whereas 1978's Grease was fun and energetic, the word that springs to mind in association with Grease 2 is "forced". The director has tried to fit too much colour, too many plot elements, and too many (largely unfunny) humorous interludes into 115 minutes of film. These teenagers aren't just a little bit naughty and likeably rude, rather they are all-out hussies and juvenile delinquents. The plot is a carbon copy of the original film. A foreign student enrolls at Rydell High, immediately develops a crush on the leader of the school's socially elite clique, and spends the rest of the movie trying to make themselves cool enough to be dateable material. One of the movie's few successes is the casting of Michelle Pfeiffer as the head of the Pink Ladies. She is both real and charismatic. Unfortunately the same can't be said of her opposite, Michael (Maxwell Caulfield), who never really gets into the feel of the film. Additionally, his voice is too light for his character, and at times he appears to have difficulty holding a tune. Song-wise the best of the bunch are the first and last tracks (Back To School Again and We'll Be Together). They are catchy and snappily choreographed chorus numbers, worthy of inclusion in the Grease franchise. The rest of the soundtrack wavers between mediocre, appallingly sentimental and plain ridiculous. Whoever decided that a neat scenario for a song would be to have a biology class singing about the pollination of plants (with the mandatory sexual undertones of course) should have been fired on the spot. Don't sully your 'Grease experience' by watching this.
