Summary: Best Sandler movie yet...
Review: This movie is as sweet and funny as they come. Is the basic plot cliched? Sure... Are the 80's spoofs totally blatant? You bet... It is the stars of this movie that make it so great. Adam and Drew are absolutely adorable together, and make this movie as fantastic as it is. Drew has never been more lovable. And anyone who grew up in the 80's, like myself, will love the nostalgia that this movie brings with it. All that, and it's pretty darn funny, too...

Summary: Surprisingly good
Review: I admit I was skeptical. From the look at Adam Sandler's resume I was expecting a pointless waste of film. Instead I found a Sandler who was (could it be?) almost an adult. I found that the chemestry between him and Barrymore was absolutely worth seeing. Its fun to watch people make fun of themselves, hense the cameo from Billy Idol. I'm in love with 80's movies and this one goes at the top of my list (even though it was made in the 90's).

Summary: It's stupid, but you'll laugh anyway.
Review: The story line is very cliche. But there are two or three scenes that make it all worthwhile. I still laugh thinking about them - a couple months after watching the video. I want to watch it again, but I may fast-forward to those scenes.

Summary: Barrymore and Sandler, the next Hollywood couple?
Review: First there was Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, and now it's Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. Sandler moves away from his baby talking idiosynchratic roles and takes a step back to the 80's. Drew Barrymore delivers a stunning, and wonderfully endearing performance as the object of Sandlers affections. Filled with great songs of the 80's, light-hearted romantic situations, and hilarious one liners, this film is a must see for all Sandler or Barrymore fans, and for anyone looking for a light hearted romantic comedy. A masterpiece theatrical performance for the girls as well as the guys.

Summary: An Absolute Howler
Review: Adam Sandler is incredibly good (and as of yet underexposed) and would expect this one takes him to the top. Clearly the next major comedian to come through our time ala Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey - he's that good and this movie is that funny. A must own, imho!

Summary: Wedding Singer dissapoints greatly
Review: The Wedding Singer starts out as a promising period piece. Adam Sandler plays a band lead singer in the sort of band you see at weddings. The story takes place in 1985. The photography is full of bright cartoonish primary colors and the transfer is well done, noiseless and sharply focused without aliasing, but the story quickly degenerates from what should have been a sensitive comedy story of how the wedding singer and the Drew Barrymore character interact into yet another teen targeted exploitaion film with bad language, unbelievable situations, and overly sappy romantic resolutions. Could have been a lot better if the second half were rewritten. END

Summary: take an enjoyable trip back to the 80's
Review: Adam Sandler does it again by singing his way into our hearts in this histerical comedy, The Wedding Singer. Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) plays a wedding singer who gets dumped at the altar by his finacee and has a tough time until he meets Julia (Drew Barrymore) a waitress who works with him. The problem is that Julia is engaged to a real creap who is cheating on her! Will Robbie and Julia end up together? I don't know but you'll have an enjoyable time watching them together with thousands of 80's cliches a great soundtrack and a singing Grandma! Plus, the DVD version includes karokee! END

Summary: Great characters, dialogue, flashback to the 80s!
Review: I thought this was Adam Sandler's best role so far. It was the most human, down-to-earth, cuddly, adorable, the kind of guy I'd love to find! Drew Barrymore was just as great, and the two had a wonderful on-screen chemistry. I thought this film was romantic in the true sense of the word -- not a "romantic" movie as far as Hollywood's idea of "romantic" goes (i.e. sex and only sex), but truly romantic (how your heart pounds before that first kiss with the perfect person!)....And let's not forget the great flashback to the 80s!!! There's plenty of 80s clothes, slang and music to keep you reminiscing for quite some time! END

Summary: THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!
Review: Right when you start to hear the retro music at the beginning of this film, you know it's gonna be great. Sandler and Barrymore make a great team in this hysterical movie. Everything and everyone in this movie are funny- from the brother-in-law, to the backround singer, to the wedding singer himself. If you are looking for a laugh, this movie is for you!! END
