Rating: Summary: It's a really bad plot, but good songs Review: This musical is full of great music and dance. The only thing I didn't like was the use of "water colors" versus "technicolor". I am sure it was decided on for a creative alternative, but I would have preferred technicolor.Other than that, it is great.

Rating: Summary: one of my favorites so I,m prejudiced Review: This ranks up right there with Sound of Music and South Pacific or State Fair. The plot is amusing, the sound is great, it is very tongue in-cheek and I'm going to buy it for myself in case TV shortens each delightful (to Me) moment. Only if you like joy, love, and laughter. I saw it twice (the live show, I mean) and if it ever comes on TV, I won't want to watch it, spoiled by TOO MANY commercials. Go see it, you'll enjoy it. Oh, and even though the end is obvious, the method of getting there is such an enjoyable route.
Rating: Summary: BEST ADAPTATION OF A BROADWAY MUSICAL TO THE MOVIE SCREEN! Review: THIS WAS A GREAT BROADWAY MUSICAL TURNED INTO AN EVEN BETTER MUSICAL MOTION PICTURE. THE ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST IS FEATURED HERE EXCEPT FOR THE LEADING LADY. DORIS DAY PLAYS "BABE" AND SHE IS TERRIFIC. FULL OF ENERGY, BITE AND, OF COURSE, LOADS OF CHARM. BETWEEN DORIS' GREAT SINGING, WONDERFUL DANCING CHOREOGRAPHED BY BOB FOSSE, THIS MUSICAL IS A WONDERFUL ENTERTAINMENT FROM THE WORD "GO." SEE IT...YOU'LL LOVE IT!
Rating: Summary: Doris Day in a pajama-factory musical. Review: Very seldom seen Doris Day film. This one is a musical in color. Unusual and perhaps unattractive to watch because it is set in a shirt & pajama-making factory. Doris Day plays Babe Williams. She is the tough-cookie that's part of the grievence committee and goes by the rule book. After having to get both sides of the story after two men had a fight, the workers tease her that she will fall in love with the man she dislikes. But if you know any Doris Day film, she will be in love soon.I liked the railroad lot set, though and nighttime rain through the window is a nice shot. Not one of my favorite Doris Day films. May I suggest Billy Rose's Jumbo?

Rating: Summary: Excellent movie! Review: What can I say? The performances are first-rate, matched with a great plot, and a very catchy score! I've been in the play once and it's amazing to find a musical that doesn't change much from the stage to video, and this is one of them.
Rating: Summary: Don't judge by the tile! Review: When I first heard about this film I thought " Sounds Rubbish" but then I heard one of the songs "Hernado's Hideaway" and I thought to myself I might as well watch it because it may be interesting and I was right. It is funny and most of the song's are good. My favourite is I'll never be Jelous " and my worst is "Small talk".
