Summary: Great documentation of a great concert
Review: The art direction is great, the various panning camera angles maintains its freshness and the excitment of the songs and arias. Bocelli's voice is simply beautiful. That's an understatement. His superb breath and support has the viewer spellbound with his long legato lines. Highlights are 'O soave fanciulla' and 'E chiove'. The performance is unfortunately marred by Sarah Brightman's unsteady voice and her antics on Bocelli. You have to see it to know what I'm talking about.

Review: "A Night in Tuscany" is a treat for both the ear and the eye. While this delightfully long, 90-minute video is primarily devoted to an outdoor concert performance by blind tenor Andrea Bocelli and full orchestra in Pisa, the video also includes interludes showing Bocelli in everyday life -- at the local store, in the vineyards, at the seashore with his wife and son, and at home with his piano. Bocelli shares his feelings (in English) about both music and family during these narrated vignettes. He also shares the stage during the concert itself with soprano Nuccia Focile as well as popular singers Zucchero ("Miserere"), and Sarah Brightman ("Time to Say Goodbye"). If you are a Bocelli fan, this video is a must-have addition to your collection. If you're not a fan yet, this video will make you a true believer in Bocelli's remarkable talent.

Review: I heard and saw Andrea Bocelli sing from "A Night In Tuscany" on PBS. He so touches my heart with his singing that I knew I had to find some of his CD's. I did just that and love the video and the 2 CD's I have. One is the arias and one is the Romanza. My son is now an admirer of Andrea's just as his mom is. By all means get the video and enjoy it on your terms in your house. You will love them. He is a great singer who will touch your heart!! You will never be the same.

Review: The Andrea Bocelli- Night in Tuscany Video was simply wonderful. This production can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages. In addition to the video I also recommend purchasing a few of his CD's, just like to video they will keep you listening for hours on end.

Review: If you have the chance to hear Andrea Bocelli sing in any form, TAKE IT!!! This man has a gift. I saw this program on PBS and was enthralled. The performances are heavenly and the landscape is beautiful.

Review: So many people have seen Bocelli on the Academy Awards now that he is in danger of being passed over as a 'pop' artist. Bocelli is in fact a superb classical singer in the Pavarotti mold and this DVD showcases his talents beautifully. Shot against a stunning backdrop of an open town square in Tuscani, Bocelli sings a wide variety of music accompanied by a magnificent orchestra, weaving a magical spell of romance and sadness depending on what he is singing. Absolutely wonderful!

Review: Bocelli's voice is divine, the picture of this DVD is great, but the sound is barely above mono. They didn't do justice to this concert. If you don't have the VHS, then it's OK to buy.

Review: I am new to opera, but have always had my favorites (Nessum Dorma). How wonderful to hear them all and see this beautiful video as well. Andrea Bocelli truly is God's gift to music. If you want to hear a preview of what angels sound like in heaven, listen to Andrea Bocelli!
