Summary: This Movie tells the whole story
Review: I have seen this movie countless of times. It tells a story of a culture far removed from our own. One exposed to the drama of war and hate. It tries to remind us of something we have never known. A classic masterpiece. No collection is complete without this one.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Listen to the album first.
Review: The album is a masterpiece. The film is like a really good film student project. That is not to say it is bad really, rather it lacks the same groundbreaking production quality and innovation heard in the album. A much more satisfying music/movie experience is Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii. Now that is something extraordinary.

Summary: Definetely - A rock and roll classic
Review: This film is a journey in which every rock fan must go through. Inspired by the masterpiece written by Roger Waters and David Gilmour mostly, it describes many things that happen around us, and we don't see or care for them. This is not for young rebbells or teenage gangsters, it is a classic for true rock fans. If you get used to know how to see and understand "The Wall", I'm sure you'll love it.

Summary: One of the most important movies of the century
Review: The Wall is a movie that I keep coming back to. Every 6-9 months I pull it out and watch it again to gain a little perspective on life. The movie is definately about a man's struggle with himself and his world around him. It is one of my favorite tragedies in movie form(the other big one is Carlito's Way) One does not have to be on drugs to appreciate "The Wall." In fact, I think it hurts. There is a good story involved that is easy to miss.

Summary: One of my all-time favorite movies!
Review: If you love Pink Floyd, The Wall; And want to understand a little bit more of what roger/david were thinking when writing this album, you've got to see this for more clarity. Seen it endless times and still get more and more out each time. Great that it's on DVD with trailer, documentaries and all. Awesome as a movie, or just for the soundtrack. A Must Have!!

Summary: The prison of stardom brought to the big screen. "The Wall."
Review: Perhaps one of the most notable personifications of a "Rock Star's life" that was ever brought to the big screen, Roger Waters' "The Wall" has managed to break the barriers of composition playwright and musical theater to bring an outstanding movie of despare, lust, greed, and pain that appears to inflict the life of our main hero, "Pink." With music from the album as the background theme, the play comes to life in this beguiling movie of our time, and pushes the audience into the trials of Pink as he attempts to "Break down the wall." A symbol of the life he has created in his mind to supress feelings of the past and the present. This movie is a must see for not only Pink Floyd fans, but for the rock and roller at heart. Sometimes, exciting, and sometimes depressing, the movie is simply a gripping spectacle of the tragedy of depression, and the coming to terms with the discovery that they can actually learn to love and forgive...especially themselves.
